Under the Covers

Joe curls into himself on Josh’s doorstep and he waits. He waits for Josh to come home and even though he’s fucking freezing his dick off and sneezing like a motherfucker, he sits and waits and hopes that Josh’ll come home soon. Josh comes, eventually, and Joe bursts into tears, because he never thought he’d be so glad to see Josh’s much-too-backcombed hair.

Josh asks what’s wrong, and Joe keeps crying and throws his head back against the door, because fucking hell, what’s not wrong? Joe feels Josh’s eyes on his neck, where there’s dark finger marks blooming. From Faris. Faris.

And Josh helps Joe up, and they go inside, and Josh helps Joe into his bed, tucks him in and goes to make tea. He doesn’t know how to fix Joe, but he can try.
