A Dad's Struggle

"Don't worry Gee, I'll protect you."

Lindsey watched her husband sleep. She was worried that he might end up over exerting himself because of the stress. She had to tell someone.

"L..Lyn?"

"Gee, don't talk, I don't want you getting hurt again."

"OK."

"I'm going to go talk to the resident nurse, OK?"

"OK."

Lindsey walked out of his room.

She walked over to the nurse's desk.

"Can you do something for me?"

"Sure."

"If a man with blond long hair, and a beard comes looking for Gerard Way, can you not let him in? By the way that man's name is Bert McCracken."

"Why?"

"Gerard is absoultely terrifed of him" Lindsey said.

"OK."

Lindsey walked to Gerard's room and saw Bob and Ray.

"How is he Lindsey?"

"A little worse, yet a little better."

"He ended up throwing up all over House."

Bob and Ray chuckled, "Nice."

"Gee wasn;t too happy about it. He was positively freaked," She said.

"Oh."

"Why the heck can't I at least have peace and quiet?!" Gerard whined.

"Sorry, Gee."

Gerard looked up to find Ray and Bob.

"HI guys," Gerard smiled.

"Hey, man. You feeling OK?"

Gerard nodded, 'Better."

"Bob, Ray, I really need some sleep, I don't like the fact that the drugs wear me out so much."

"Sorry."

"S'OK."

They left and Gerard fell asleep on the covers.
