A Dad's Struggle

Gerard lied in his bed. Was this how it was when you were hospitalized? Bored beyond belief, sick, and lonely. If that's what was going on, Gerard was getting ripped off.
There was a soft knock on his door.
"Hi Gee," It was Mikey, and Lindsey.
"Hey, you two are the only ones that visit me."
"We know."
"Why?"
"I don't want Bandit to be scared, adn worried about you.." Lindsey said.
"...But Lyn, I worry about Bandit every day!"
"Ssh, Gee, I know...but I'm thinking of whats best for her."
"I know Lyn, I'm sorry I got so snappy."
"It's OK Gee."
Gerard's face paled. Lindsey and Mikey looked at him worriedly.
"Gee?"
Gerard looked at the floor, then vomited all over it.
"Gee!"
Lindsey looked at Gerard's puke puddle. Gerard curled up into a ball, and whimpered softly.
"What's wrong?"
"I..I don't like it here...I miss you all so much."
"We miss you too, Gee."
"Bandit already has a cake recipe picked out for when you come home," Lindsey said smiling.
"Really? You're letting her cook?" Gerard said surprised.
"She has to learn before she goes to college!"
"..Or on tour with us for that matter." Gerard grinned childishly.
"Geez, Gee. You scare me sometimes."
"I know I do, but you have to love me anyway!"
"Yep, I sure do!" Lindsey said kissing his cheek.
"Eeewww, girl germs!!" Gerard said playfully.
"Hee-hee, you're such a kid," Lindsey laughed.
"You still love me though!"
Lindsey's cell went off.
"Hello? Oh, hey Frank. How's it going? Yea...I'm here with Gee, he's being a complete kid right now."
"Typical Gee!"
"Hey!! Frank!!"
'How's Bandit?"
"Good, she listened to me play guitar today."
"How did that go?"
"Great, she smiled really big when I played Helena,"
"Aww, I'll have to tell Gee. Well, I got to go, make sure Gee doesn't kill the nurses! Bye Frank."
she flipped her phone down.
"So...?"
"Bandit's fine, Frank played Helena for her, and she smiled really big," Lindsey said.
"Aww, really? Gosh, I miss her so bad right now." Gerard said.
"Get some sleep, and maybe she'l come tomorrow."
