What Happens in Scotland

The Highland Games

Today I had a true British/Scotish breakfast; ham, eggs, beans, toast, sausage, mushrooms, yogurt, and cereal. Actually I think the mushrooms were extra but I'm not quite sure.

We went to the Highland Games, and man was that awesome or what?! We got to watch junior shot put, hammer throw, light weight, and caber throw - more like telephone pole (these were also shown for the senior competitors). I got to rock climb, we had burgers (tasted like sausage though) and we bought a couple flags and souvenirs. We also got to see a lot of guys wearing kilts. It was pretty cool and fun.

Then we came to Aberlour and looked around for distilleries, but we got ot them too late. Most of them closed at 1600, 1630, and 1700. Was kinda dissapointing 'cuz my dad and his frined were looking forward to seeing how whiskey's made. Oh, well. I think we're ging to one in the morning, but our friend keeps us on a very tight schedule.

Tomorrow we'll be in Inverness and so maybe we'll see the Loch Ness Monster. Yes, I know, she's not real, but who really knows, right?

Well, (again) we have an early start adn we have a lot of stufs to see. Night.
