It's Hard To Breath When You're Buried Alive.

Part Three.

[Saxon's POV]

"Carnival?" I asked

"Yeah it's in town and I though it'd be fun if we all go since we haven't gone out in a long time." Layton explained.

"Can we go mom?" I begged.

She laughed.

"Saxon you're grown and you're still asking me if you can go out?"

"Yes." I replied.

"Well I suppose it'll be interesting."

"Yes! I'm going to get dressed."

I got up making my way to the bedroom.

"What should I wear?" I asked Layton as he walked into the room after me.

"Uhm, clothes duh."

"But is there something special?"

"No, just don't wear loose clothing." he said rummaging through the closet.

"Why?"

"You might get caught in one of the rides and torn to pieces."

I stopped staring at him.

"W-What?!"

"Babe I was just kidding." he said wrapping his arms around me.

"Oh, that wasn't funny. Besides when have you ever seen me wearing loose clothing?" I asked chuckling.

-_-_-_-_-_-_-

I bounded out of the car once we've parked.

"Wow mom look at all the rides!" I squealed

We walked in buying tickets for the rides.

"Let's get on this one!" Waylon called.

I looked up at the ride. Immediately fear filled me.

"I think I'll just stand here and watch."

"Scared?" Dad asked

"Maybe." I mumbled.

"Well good you can hold Landon while I ride this bad boy."

Lena placed him into my arms. I held him close to me. They all got on and the workers helped them get situated. I felt sick as the ride flipped and zoomed around. I tore my eyes away from the ride to see a little boy crying. I walked over to him bending down.

"Are you okay?"

He wiped his eyes.

"I-I can't fin-find my mommy." he stuttered.

"Come on I'll help you find her."

I grasped his hand and with the other I held Landon.

"What's you're name?" I asked him.

"Ha-Harper."

"Alright."

I walked up to one of the booths and asked the man if I could make an announcement on the intercom. He nodded and handed me the microphone.

What the hell am I suppose to say...

"Uhm. Excuse me. Could Harper's mother please come to the Help booth. Thank you."

I handed the man his microphone thanking him.

"Is she coming?" he asked scared.

"Yes. I'm sure she'll be here any minute now."

Just as the words left my mouth two woman in there early 20's came charging at us.

"Oh my gosh are you okay Harp?" One of them said holding him tightly in her arms.

"I'm fine mommy. He helped me find you." he replied pointing to me.

The other woman pulled me into a hug.

"Thank you so much for finding our son."

I froze.

"You-Your son? You mean.."

She pulled away nodding. I grinned widely.

"You're welcome."

"I'm Lynn." she said introducing herself.

"And I'm Kam." said the one hugging Harper.

"I'm Saxon." I replied.

"Nice to meet you." Lynn answered

"You must let us repay you." Kam said standing up.

"No it's fi-"

"Saxon!!"

I turned to see Layton running to me.

"Where did you go we've been looking everywhere for you babe."

"I'm sorry I had to help Harper he was lost." I explained.

"Oh, here let me hold Landon."

"Ah!"

I jumped when Lynn let out a squeal.

"What?"

"Are you two Landon's fathers?" she asked excited.

"Oh, no. This is our best friends child." Layton replied.

"I'm sorry I always jump to conclusions. Is Saxon your brother?" Lynn asked.

"He's my boyfriend." he replied laughing.

"Duh. He called him babe. Have you ever heard brothers call each other babe?" Kam asked.

"Good point." she answered.

Out of no where Lynn grabbed my hand and wrote her number on it.

"Call us. We owe you for finding Harper."

"Okay I will."

"Thanks again. Bye."

"Bye." I said waving.

"Nice meeting you." said Layton.

Harper waved to us until they turned the corner.

"We better get going they're waiting on us." Layton said

"I'm sorry I ran off like that."

"No it's understandable."
His arm wrapped around my waist pulling me closer to him. As we walked away I couldn't seem to get Harper out of my mind. I couldn't help but wonder when I'm going to have a little Harper of my own.
