    "Hey there, Mikey! Sorry for the whole 'trying to kill you' thing! I love you!"
  2. "Wait...where am I?"
    "You were considered insane...you were destroying things and hurt people..."
  3. "Mikey Mikey Mikey...you silly, pathetic kid..."
    He wished that it was his brother that he was holding and not the lifeless pillow.
  4. "What's wrong with you?"
    "One way or another, I'm gonna find out why you're in this place, and I'll find out your secret...either that or I'll die trying..."
  5. "Bwooohb!"
    Like hell that was true. It was my fault all the way and I had to find out what I had done to cause him to get like that.

    I couldn't help but stare, that ass belonged to only one person.

    "It's been really weird without you. It's like...just not the same...it's like a big part of us all is missing."
  8. "I have a girlfriend!"
    "No, I mean...I love you. I want to be with you, hold you and kiss you..."
  9. "I mean it...it wasn't because of the kiss."
    “Well, Alicia and I are having a date tonight...I’m excited...it’s our first date, and I don’t know how it’s going to go.”
  10. "Mikey and I decided to invite my friend Elle."
    "Well...not in a creepy, freakish way, but in an admiring way...I was kind of staring at you."
  11. "Nice jeans, Mikey. Where'd you get 'em?"
    "Today was great! But for some reason I couldn't help but feel like I was annoying you and getting in the way...have I done anything wrong?"
  12. "He's the love of my life."
    "So, because you love him, you'll survive for him, because otherwise he'll be miserable?"
  13. "Would you like to take your car out for a spin?"
    I felt my eyes starting to droop, and I thought I felt something on my arm, but my limbs were practically numb now, so that probably didn't mean a thing.
  14. "I've fallen in love with you."
    "Health? Why that? He's dead, he has no health."
  15. "Is it okay if I speak to you outside a minute?"
    "No, it wasn't your fault...don't think that. You had no clue what was going on in my head...but now you do...everything that has happened is in the past and we can't change it, so there's no point in dwelling on it Mikes."
  16. "...it's best that we not see each other anymore."
    I walked back into Gerard's room after my tears had dried and my eyes weren't so red. He saw my saddened expression, however, and that worried him.
  17. "Soooo...what are you saying?"
    ...and a piece of my heart in her hands, pulsing and contracting for someone to love it.
  18. "Mr. Way...your brother has gone into a coma."
    "Mikey, I love you, really. But...now I only love you like a brother...there's no intimacy that can happen here."
  19. "I love you Gerard..."
    Whatever happens, I just want him to wake up. I want to hold him and comfort him and tell him that I love him so very much.
  20. "Gerard, do you not remember us? I mean..us?"
    "If you mean 'us' as brothers, then yeah...but that's all I can think of. Why?" he asked, curious as to what I meant by the question. I got up and started walking out of the room.
  21. "Mikey? Miiiiiikeeeeeyy!?"
    Finally, some time alone with my brother. This is what I'd been waiting for since he got out of hospital. I just wanted to be able to sit and talk with him a bit. And now I could.
  22. "Gerard it's okay. I love you too."
    I pulled back a second just long enough to catch my breath and ask, "Gerard what are you-" but was cut off as he re-attached our lips once again.
  23. "Say that again Mikey, say it again."
    Even after everything we’d been through these past few weeks, I felt so happy. I was just in total bliss.
