Gerard's engagement is broken off, when his fiancé finds out that he and Frank became a little too close off stage one night. She knew things might have gone on before she met him, but couldn’t handle it when Gerard admits his infidelity to her. Gerard is devastated, and Frank is guilt ridden. Neither of them is sure about their own feelings for one another. It all comes to a dramatic conclusion one day, when a competition winner spends a day in their lives, and forces them to share this dramatic twist of events.
