War changes people.

It can make some, and break others.

In the midst of one war, two unlikely members of the resistance force find love together. She never expected it. He could never have hoped for it. They both wanted to fight.

But not everything can be so simple.

As the couple have the constant shadow of war and society hanging over and mingling with both of their lives, is it possible that their love can survive and make it to the other side?

Author Note: As you read this,you will probably notice a distinct change in the style of writing. I wrote this story for six months, and that time has seen my writing style develop, therefore you can see how the way I write has (hopefully!) advanced over that period of time and on making final edits, I changed very little of the actual writing so that this piece of writing represents both the changes in my writing and in myself over those months.
