Ghost Town

First Reaction

My first reaction was to scream, running Selene to her grave and burying her inside. "SUN!" I screamed, diving to knock villagers out of the way. "JASON!" I screamed, catching his attention. He froze, caught directly in the sunlight, his flesh burning. I froze, beginning to cry as I couldn't save him. but at his side, a newly turned Matt howled in agony. And I dove forward, catching hold of him and transporting him inside.

Then I realized what I had done. I had saved Matt, leaving my mate for dead.
