Number Three
I looked at the clock and it’s 5.30 P.M already, I sighed for a moment because I’m so bored and there’s no homework to do. I went down stairs to find something in the fridge, and I found Ben & Jerry’s. Without thinking who own this ice cream, I took a spoon and ate the whole ice cream by myself. I love ice cream.
I was enjoying eating ice cream while watching Ben 10 on Cartoon Network then suddenly the doorbell rang. I went to the door lazily and opened the door.
“Yes? Who is it?”
“Hey Kath” And it was Tommy who is behind the door
“Oh, oh my gosh Tommy? What are you doing here?” I don’t know how to described my face that time. I was really really shocked
“Are you busy? Sorry to interrupt you”
“Oh no it’s fine, come in come in it’s freezing outside”
He went inside and sits on the couch, I went to the kitchen and made him a hot chocolate. It’s the transition time between winter and spring, so it’s still freezing. I was wearing boxers, tee, and an oversized sweater, I went back to the living room and gave him the hot chocolate
“Thanks”
“No problem, so what’s up?”
“Not much. Kath, I was wondering do you wanna go for a walk next Saturday?”
Shocked? Yes. I can feel that I almost choked that’s why I keep patting my chest
“Are you alright Kath?”
“Oh yes I’m fine. Seriously? With me?”
“Yeah, I mean you’re a nice friend. And maybe you can show me around?”
“Sounds good for me”
“Okay then, I’ll pick you up around 10 A.M? So we can have lunch together”
“Okay cool”

Today is Saturday. I’m going to have a walk with Tommy, and why am I panicking about what to wear?! I never panicked! What should I wear what should I weaaaar?
I went inside my walk in closet, and I took gray skinny with striped sweater and white winter boots. I took my blackberry from my study desk and my wallet, incase I need to buy something. I went downstairs, my parent is not at home for 6 months and my brother is studying abroad. I opened the door and I saw Tommy.
“Hey Tommy” I smiled at him
“Hey Kath” he smiled back. Again, my heart beats really fast
“So you’re ready for a walk?” he asked
“Of course silly” we laughed.
I showed him around and introduced him to some of my neighbors who are playing at the park. We stayed at the park for a while. It was so fun, we went to the swings and sit there for a while when suddenly he tickled me and I fell from the swing. It was hilarious, we also played ‘tag you’re it’ until we’re tired. And from there, we went to the closest fast food restaurant. He opened the door for me
“After you my lady” he laughed
“Thank you,” I said sarcastically while doing the princess bow thingy
We ordered cheeseburger with fries and chocolate milk shake. We chat the whole time, I asked about his life he asked about mine’s. We also talked about his band, FranKo. His voice is really sweet, I love the way he tells about everything, I love the way he laughed, he joked, even the way he sipped his chocolate milk shake! What the fuck is wrong with me? I this what falling in love feels like?
“Finished?” I asked
“Yep, wait. One more sip then we go” he sipped his milk shake for the last time, he put on his coat then he paid the bills. He forced me not to pay the bills; he said it’s a thank you present for me. I can’t refuse of course. He’s so nice
We continued our walk as soon as he finishes paying the bill
“Hey thanks for today,” I said, then I smiled at him
“No, thank you Kath” he smiled back. It’s an awkward silence for a while; thank goodness he breaks the silence. I seriously don’t know what to say, I was hypnotized by his cuteness.
“Do you want to come to my apartment? The other 3 is there”
“Well I love too”
“Great! Let’s go!” he grabbed my arm and we run to his apartment. It’s not that far though, and the apartment is really nice. It’s only like 10 minutes away from my neighborhood. When we got there, he doesn’t need to knock the door. I think Chris already got a feeling that he’s back, because he directly opened the door and jumped to Tommy
“TOMMY! YOU’RE BACK! I MISS YOU ALREADY!” shouted Chris who directly hugged Tommy like a kid misses their blanket
“Chris stop it man, I bet you eat too much nerds don’t you? He always acts hyper if he ate nerds too much” said Tommy while he turned his head to face me. I didn’t say a word, I just laughed and smiled at them. Beau grabbed my arm and pulled me inside, their apartment is so cozy and nice. If I can I prefer to stay at their apartment until tomorrow
“Kath, is your parent at home?” Asked Chris
“No why?” I said confused
“You see, it’s 11 P.M already. So we think, maybe you want to stay at our apartment until tomorrow?” YES! My dream comes true. I was so happy inside, but I tried to act cool
“Really? Yeah sure sounds fun for me”
“YAY!” suddenly Chris attacked me with his super tight hug
“C-c-chris, air. Too tight!” I was run out of breath. He let me go and all of us just laughed. We spent the night playing guitar hero, watching cartoons, playing truth or dare, and pillow fight. It’s just like slumber party, but the difference is I have the slumber party with boys, which is more fun for me.
5 minute later Chris and Beau is having sweet dreams already, they snored so loud wow. Richard is still playing guitar hero, he’s a guitar hero freak, he even ignored me when I asked where the toilet is. Then I realized Tommy is not there. So I tried to found him. I saw a room with the door opened, I was so curious and I pop my head inside to see who’s there. I blushed and my face was turning red when I saw what’s inside the room, I just saw topless Tommy with wet hair. I bet he just finished taking a shower
“Well what we have here, a girl looking at a topless guy who just finished taking shower”
“I…I…I didn’t mean…umm…I didn’t mean too. Sorry!” I darted off back to the living room, but too late Tommy has already grabbed my hand and stopped me from running. He laughed and messed my hair up
“Hey! No one can ruin my hair!”
“Well I guess I can. I just did,” he laughed. Gosh, he’s so cute
“You can sleep with me if you want to” he gave me a smirk looking face
“You perv!” I throw a pillow to his face
“Kidding women. Here use my shirt and boxer, I’ll wait you at the living room” he handled me his shirt and boxer. His shirt is kinda big for me; even tough he’s not that skinny. The smell of his shirt is really nice. I loved to stay here a little bit longer.
As I finished changing my clothes, I saw Richard is sleeping already. While Tommy’s still awake. He saw me, and he patted the cushion next to his. Which mean ‘come here and sleep beside me’. I blushed
I went to the place he just patted. And began to sleep, even tough he’s beside me. I still can’t sleep. I hate dark
“What’s wrong Kath?”
“Umm, I hate dark. I can’t sleep”
“Don’t worry” he pulled me to his chest and hugged me not too tight not too loose. It’s perfect and warm. My eyes began to close, and then he kissed my forehead. And both of us went to sleep
