Hush Hush

In a matter of minutes, they found a compartment towards the back of the train.

"So what is it like?" Jade asked.

"What? School?" James asked.

Jade nodded.

"It's really nothing special." Said Peter.

"You've never had proper schooling before Hogwarts?" Asked Remus.

"My mother taught me. She also teaches in a muggle school."

"Moony will help you. He's part genius." Sirius snickered.

"Just because I can comprehend big words."

"Big words no one else knows." James retorted.

The group laughed together. Jade heard the compartment door open.

"Speak for yourself, Potter,"

Jade turned towards the feminine voice and saw a girl with firey red hair.

"Lily, dear. How I've missed you so." James pipped with a grin on his face.

Oh yea, he likes her. Jade thought to herself. She could just see it in his eyes.

Jade got up to introduce herself. "Hola, I'm Jade."

Lily smiled. "You must be the new transfer student from Spain. I'm Lily, nice to meet."

"Yo también." *Same here.*

"How do you know the boys?"

"I met them at Diagon Ally. How long have you known them?"

"Too long." Sirius grumbled. Jade smacked his leg.

"Ow! What was that for?!"

"She is a lady! You treat her with respect."

"As long as she keeps her mouth shut when ever we prank somebody."

"Oh, you mean humiliate them?!" Lily interjected.

"Humiliation is life. Get over it."

"It's not me you need to say that to."

"Oh, you mean Snivellis? Conniving coward? Funny you should mention him."

"Who's 'Snivellis'?" Jade asked.

"A greasy bastard that you should stay away from." James spat.

"Honestly, I see no harm in him." Said Lily.

"He calls you a mudblood, Lily. I say thats harmful." Prompted Remus.

Jade kept a straight face while contemplating that word; Mudblood.

It doesn't sound right. Somethings wrong.

"It's an insult, isn't it?" Jade asked Sirius.

He nodded. "Meant for wizards with muggle parents."

"And wizards with one muggle parent?"

"Halfbloods."

Jade took a closer look at his face. She saw the shame and hurt that came with those words; she wanted to hurt anybody who said those words.

"Sirius?"

"Hm?"

"Show me this Snivellis when we get to school, alright?"

"Sure."

Lily looked at her wristwatch. "Oh, look. We're almost there."

"About time. I'm starving." Said Peter. Jade laughed and went through her purse to find the sandwich her mother packed and the chocolate bar her grandmother sneaked in while her mother wasn't looking.
She handed the items to Peter.

"Oh, no. I can wait." He refused.

"No you cant. I can see that. Take it; I'm not hungry anyway." Of course this was a lie but Jade doesn't care.
Peter shrugged and took the snacks.

"Lily? Don't I have to change into a uniform before we get there?"

"Oh, right. I'll show you where the changing rooms are."

"Ok." Jade grabbed her carry on and walked out with Lily.
