I was sitting here, watching how my son was graduating university. I was so proud of him. I was just sad the Kristel wasn't here to see this. She would have been proud too. I felt a tear coming and then a hand on my knee. Mairi's eyes were comforting. Jon next to her just made her comfort even stronger. Brendon next to me whispered in my ear that Krissu is watching from above and Ryan just gave me a thumbs up. I was glad to have them and I was glad that I had a son like Sam.
*One year later Sam got married to Jennifer, a really nice girl from a good family. Spencer was happy. Year later, Spencer became a grandfather to twins Kristen and Kristofer. Spencer was happy. He became a granfather for two more times. On his deathbed, he saw his seventh greatgrandchild. Spencer lived a long life. He never got married nor had he any girlfriends. Brendon, Ryan, Mairi and Jon never left his side and were there until the end. Spencer died happy.*
