Chapter Fifteen; Pool Party.
Sky’s Point of View
I groaned and said “Who the fuck came up with math!? I’m going to kill him or her!” Bert and surprisingly, Jeph laughed at me “I think that him or her are already dead, Sky” Howard said with a smile, I glared at my math book and muttered a hateful “Good, may them rot in hell”
“Aw, it’s not that bad Sky!” Bert said and I glared at him too “Easy for you to say, genius…” I replied and pouted. Now Dawn laughed too and then threw a bit of paper at me I mumbled out what she had written “Look at Quinn… when he stands up?” I looked at Dawn and raised an eyebrow; she giggled and pointed to his shoelaces.
Bert let out a laugh and said “Classic!”
I sighed and looked down at my book, I cursed in German and Dawn burst out laughing because she knew what it meant. “Sky, I do not appreciate you saying stuff like that in my classroom” Jeph said and looked at me. My eyes widened and I asked him – in German just to test him – if he knew German. He smirked at me and replied “Yes, I do! Now, get back to work Sky”
“aber es ist die Langeweile!” I said with a frustrated sigh. Jeph laughed and replied happily “Ich weiß, aber Sie haben zu tun, was langweilig. So können Sie alle nehmen an der Arbeit.”
”Tell me again why you didn’t become a German teacher instead, Howard?” I asked with raised eyebrows. He shrugged “I didn’t feel like it”
Bert and Quinn looked at me, eyes wide and raised eyebrows “What?” I said and laughed. “Never mind, Sky” Quinn said and smiled. I shrugged and did some math, I then stretched and cracked my knuckles carefully.
“When is this detention going to end!?” Quinn said angrily and slammed his head against the desk. Howard looked at his watch and said “Now” Quinn stood up quickly and soon fell over again. I started to laugh as mad as I grabbed my books; Dawn too was laughing her ass off. “Daaawn!” Quinn whined as he undid his shoelaces with a stupid grin. I smiled at my friends as we walked out of the room.
I sighed happily and said “Finally!” as I walked over to my locker. Everyone else had their lockers a bit away from mine; I opened my locker and looked inside. Fuck there is such a mess in here. I put my books in the locker and closed it harshly. “I am more than fed up with school…” I mumbled with a sigh.
-time elapse-
It was the next day and Quinn, Dawn, Bert, Dan and me was walking to school.
“Look there’s a pool!” Dan said excitedly as we passed a lawn with a pool. I nodded slowly “So?”
“So, we’re going to take a swim! Come on guys!” Dan exclaimed and dragged us over to the pool. “Uh… I don’t think this is such a good idea…” I said slowly, but it was too late. Someone pushed me into the pool! I gasped as I hit the freezing water, making me swallow shitloads of water.
As I reached the surface I took a deep breath of air and started to cough and shiver like crazy. “It’s t-totally your fault if I get sick, Dan! Will you at least help me out of here?” I asked, he nodded and reached out his hand, I grabbed it and smirked evilly. “Sorry, Dan” I said as I pulled him into the water. Bert laughed and so did Quinn and Dawn. Dawn took a few steps backwards, and then she ran and jumped into the pool!
“You’re crazy Dawn!” I said to her and laughed; she laughed too and looked up at Quinn and Bert “Well?” She said. They looked at each other; Bert quickly pushed Quinn into the pool and jumped in himself. We were having a good time until an old man came out and started to yell at us. I quickly jumped out of the pool and helped the rest of us out of there.
We all laughed like maniacs as we ran to school. Halfway there I jumped up on Bert’s back “Come on horsie!” I exclaimed with a laugh.
Dawn shook her head at me with a smile and then Dawn, Quinn and me hurried to our class.
“Allman, Jones and Stevens, why are you wet and late?” Mr. Howard said to us with a frown, but his eyes said otherwise, his eyes said that he was amused. I gave him a small smile and told him the truth “We decided to take a swim, Mr. Howard.”
He raised an eyebrow and smiled at us “Wasn’t that awfully cold, Stevens?”
I nodded and smiled at him “Yeah, it was. Daniel Whitesides pushed me into the water” I said with a fake pout. Jepha let out a laugh and said “Well then, sit down and do some work, ya crazy girl!”
I winked at Quinn and Dawn as I made my way to my seat.
This was the most awesome day so far.
