The Walk Home

was a very interesting spectacle. A stupor of high, roller coaster of adrenaline. The walk felt like a million miles, especially with my unbalanced walk. At Jessie's house, the family's maroon car was gone from the driveway. He invited me in, and guided me to his bedroom. I plopped down onto the bed, letting out a deep sigh and staring up at the ceiling. A mural of color greeted me. Silver stars, black birds, blue moon and a dominant orange sun. I floated with them, danced with them and caught the view from above. I was no longer myself, but a spirit from somewhere deep, deep within. I didn't even realize when Jessie crawled over me slowly. My soul floated back down to him when he bit my neck hard, and against my own will I moaned loud.
