Monster, Monster

I Never Knew

life could feel so damn good. I thought the high from the crip was like a million dollars. But the purple haze was like a trillion dollars and bathing in diamonds. Except for the head rushes, I felt amazing. There was no food; there was no hunger. There was no laughing. just hands together, people kissing and sharing their love. The only other girl now laid in the corner, shedding her second skin for Conner, his hands feeling her up. Yet, I was still at peace in my own place of happiness. Somewhere between the first puff and the twelfth, I had floated away, somewhere no one could reach me or touch me. It was like walking at a great distance in the clouds, and I wished I could stay there forever.
