The Nightmare Before Easter
Getting Back On Track.
Jack and Lindsay were also running amoch in the town. But what they didn’t know was that Sally had started the rampage and was only about 2 yards away in the police station.
Jack pulled Lindsay over to a miscellaneous park bench, and sat her down on it. Going to her eye level, he crouched down and asked, “Lindsay, do you read any books about the Easter Bunny?”
“Yes,” Lindsay answered, “I do. A lot. Easter is my favorite time. Why?”
“Well,” Jack began, “In those books, do they tell you anything about a place that the Easter Bunny likes to stay in?”
Lindsay thought for a moment, then answered, “Well, he does like grass. Maybe he’s in the park! Nobody’s gone in there all year. They say something weird happens when they go there. Like, the ground shakes." she thought again, "Hey, maybe he’s living in there!”
That being the most obvious answer imaginable, the two set back off towards the park, Zero in close company trailing after Lindsay, bouncing around the frills on the bottom of her nightdress.
