Wild Night

All my shit I might need was packed. Clothes, shoes, whatever else. I'd said my goodbyes to my parents. I knocked on Brian's door.

Melly: are you ready for wild nights?

He smiled.

Brian: and work.

Melly: its not hard to sell t-shirts.

Brian: its going to be interesting that's for sure. I'm glad you're coming though.

Melly: me too. I'm surprised you didn't argue.

He shrugged.

Brian: the bus will be here in a bit.

I nodded. The sun was just about to rise.

Melly: is sleeping bitch awake yet?

He went inside.

Mich: I'm awake.

Melly: to bad for that.

She made a face. I slipped some sunglasses on.

Mich: you better not fuck things up.

Melly: I don't. I only make them better.

The bus pulled up. I loaded mine and Brians shit. She can do her own work. I scanned the inside of the bus.

Melly: not to bad Brian.

Brian: hell no its better than a van.

I nodded.

Melly: wake me up when we get to the first venue.

Brian: will do.

Anytime Michelle had a complaint about me made me smile. I got comfuy in a bunk and passed out.

Melly: please stop breathing on me.

I turned around.

Zacky: told you that would wake her up.

I got out of the bunk and stretched.

Jenn: put some pants on or something.

Melly: oh right. Zacky give me something.

He threw something at me. I held it up.

Melly: right a t-shirt. Whatever.

I tied it around my waist. A good portion of my left leg was showing.

Melly: good tidings all.

Mich: really with that?

Melly: it was Zacky's choice.

She rolled her eyes. Jenn took a seat at the table area. I sat across from her.

Melly: hola Jimmy.

Jimmy: hey. Playing poker care to join?

Melly: no I'm good.

Jenn: she doesn't know how to play.

I shrugged.

Jenn: hurry up Matt! We're gonna start without you!

Melly: hey Johnny.

He gave a nod. Matt emerged from the back.

Matt: sorry.

He sat next to me. His hand touched my leg and he pulled away quickly.

Matt: my bad.

Melly: oh that's alright love.

I smirked at Jenn.

Melly: we get to sell t-shirts Jenn.

Jenn: easy.

Melly: yeah we'll actually be helping them out.

Jenn: its nice to know we aren't just mooching off them for a joy ride.

She looked right at Michelle. Who glared at her. Val came up from the back.

Melly: Val. I didn't know you were here.

Val: surprise.

She smiled.

Melly: how have you been girl?

Val: I'm good and yourself?

Melly: fabulous as always.

Val: its cool you're helping.

Melly: I know.

Val: makes my job easier.

Melly: I'm glad to hear that.

She went and took a seat by her sister. I disliked both of them.

Melly: I need a drink.

Matt: its only ten.

Melly: why would that stop me?

He shook his head and smiled. I crawled over the table to get out.

Matt: you could have asked me to move.

Melly: I didn't want to be rude.

I walked over to the little fridge.

Melly: who's bottle of Jack?

Zacky: mine.

Melly: care to share?

Zacky: always with you.

I smiled and took it out. I made my way to him and sat on his lap. I opened it up.

Melly: open wide.

I poured some in his mouth. Then I took a drink.

Melly: just what I needed.

Zacky: give me some more of that.

By the time we got to the first stop me and Vengeance were drunk.

Zacky: I think they're mad at us.

Melly: fuck them. We're having a good time that's all that matters.

We laughed a bit.

Melly: Matthew.

Matt: yes Melly?

Melly: you're a lucky guy to have a bitch like Val. She's too good to you.

Matt: I know.

Melly: naw dude you don't. She works her ass off for you fuckers. Whens the last time you told her thank you?

He just smiled at me.

Matt: Melly you're drunk.

Melly: so? You like it.

I whispered. He chuckled.

Melly: I'm really sleepy.

I rested my head on his chest. I felt him sigh.

Matt: we haven't gotten halfway and already you're about to pass out.

Melly: its ok.

Zacky: Melly I'm goin' to pee.

Melly: don't get it all over cause I'll make you lick that shit clean.

I stood up and caught my balance.

Melly: where is everyone?

Matt: we're at a pit stop.

Melly: huh...damn.

Matt: what?

Melly: I'm tiered I'm going to take a nap.

I kissed his forehead and headed toward the back. I knocked on the bathroom door.

Zacky: occupado.

Melly: don't piss on anything.

Back into the bunk from this morning. I woke up sometime later.

Melly: holy shit.

I popped my head out of the bunk.

Melly: Jenn.

Jenn: hey.

Melly: are we there?

Jenn: yeah get dressed.

Melly: cool.

I did and walked out into the blaring sun.

Melly: fuck my hole its fucking hot.

Mich: 'bout time you woke up.

Melly: what do you care its not like you do anything.

Brian: hung over?

Melly: not yet.

Mich: surprise.

Melly: shut up. Your voice is like two cats fucking.

Jenn laughed.

Brian: Melly.

Melly: what?

Jenn: we're supposed to set up a "booth" area for merch.

Melly: right on. So where do we get the table and shit?

Jenn: yeah right I made the Barrys do it.

Melly: oh even better. Its really fuckin' hot.

Jenn: Brian when do you perform?

She asked looking him over.

Brian: uhh...at five.

She nodded.

Melly: man this is fuckin' boring.

Brian: don't worry the parties are after the shows.

Mich: Brian.

Brian: what? We've already been invited to a party at MCR's bus.

Jenn: if you don't want to go Michelle you can stay here.

Brian: yeah no biggy.

Mich: by myself.

Jenn: its not that big of a deal. I'd stay with you but its rude to not show up.

Michelle narrowed her eyes at Jenn. I watched Val and Matt walk up. Hand in hand. I slipped my sunglasses on. Fuck her and her perfectness.

Melly: Brian is James here too?

Brian: I think so.

Melly: cool. I haven't seen him for a while. Where are the guys?

Brian: checking out the place.

Val: hey guys.

Melly: hello.

She let go of Matt and went into the bus.

Matt: sleep off the booze?

Melly: you know it.

I grinned.

Matt: you going to the party tonight?

Melly: but ofcourse.

Selling t-shirts was way easy. Duh. How hard is it to convince a dude to buy a shirt. Not at all when you're a chick.

Val: you guys did really good.

Melly: you won't ever be disappointed.

Val: I know I won't.

Melly: and the guys were the best. As always.

Val: yeah.

Jenn: are you going to the party tonight?

Val: no.

Jenn: why not?

Val: not in the mood today. I'm a bit tiered.

Jenn: that's to bad.

Melly: we'll bring you a drink back.

Val: alright. Have fun girls.

She smiled and went into the bunks.

Brian: you two ready?

Melly: we've been waiting on you assholes.

The walk wasn't far. I could hear all the noise.

Melly: I'm glad Michelle didn't come.

Brian gave me a side glance.

Melly: you can't tell me you aren't atleast a little happy. You'll be able to drink and talk as you please. You know I won't tell.

Jenn: me either.

She winked at him. We linked arms and skipped around the guys. Laughing happily. I knew these boys. They are happier when they're around me and Jenn. We could make them laugh. Make them smile. They didn't have to pretend to be so serious like they did around Val and Michelle. We let go of each other. I grabbed Zacky and made him do a few turns with me. Wrapping my arms around his neck before falling. He kissed me and I smiled.

Melly: let's go party assholes.

I grabbed Brian's hand and made him run with me to the party. The rest caught up.

Jenn: don't worry Brian if you've forgotten how, I'll personally show you.

She smirked and grabbed his arm and led him into the crowd.

Melly: smell that, that's the smell of good times.

Matt: that you won't remember in the morning.

Melly: that's what pictures are for.

I pulled out some one time use camera I'd found.

Matt: only you Melly.

Melly: don't you want to remember your first night at Warped?

Matt: yes.

Melly: ok then.

I grabbed him and posed.

Melly: to many more memories Matthew.
