Chapter Six: Dad?

*TWO WEEKS LATER

“Bye mom, bye dad,” Kyle said to his parents, giving them a hug.

“Bye Kyle,” They smiled. The same thing went for Oliver, who promised his mother to call every week. We piled onto the bus, and waved goodbye to everyone. I sat on the couch and powered up my laptop. Kyle and Oliver plopped on each side of me and I checked where our first stop was. New York City.

“How long should it take to get to NYC?” I asked Bob.

“Few hours,” He shrugged. The guys were taking turns playing with the Nintendo Wii, while I watched. We made a swift turn, and Gerard and Ray, who were playing, fell. We broke into hysteric fits of laughter for at least five minutes.

“Come on Stephanie, you verse me,” Gerard said.

“Fine,” I agreed. We played tennis and I beat Gerard so bad, it’s not even funny.

“Loser,” I smirked.

“Sore winner,” Dad mumbled.

“I finally meet my dad, and he sucks at tennis,” I laughed.

“You called me dad,” He smiled.

“Gerard.”

“Dad.”

“Gerard.”

“Dad.”

“GERARD. NOW SHUT UP.”
