All Was Golden When the Day Met the Night

Northern downpour sends its love

He was there to have a good time and to celebrate the ending of another tour. She was there with her friends to get over her recently dumped boyfriend. On this night the two young people didn’t know that they’d finally find each other. His name was Ryan Ross, the guitarist, lyricist and among other things of the band panic at the disco. Her name was Michelle, an exuberant and very intelligent young blonde on her way to the top.

“Come on Michelle let’s go dance.”

It wasn’t until now that Ryan had noticed the girl being pulled on to the dance floor by one of her friends. He couldn’t help but stare at her, her beauty and the way she moved hypnotized her. His best friend and band mate Brendon Urie was the one to pull him out of his trance.

“Earth to Ryan, you stare any harder and your eyes might just fall out.”

“Sorry Brendon, I just got a little distracted.”

“Yeah she is beautiful, go talk to her Ryan,” Jon said poking him in the ribs.

He sighed; he was having second thoughts about going to talk to her.

'What if she doesn't like me?' He thought, 'what if she thinks that I think she's some sort of groupie?'

Brendon snapped him out of his trance again, “go on Ryan you’ll never get her at this rate.”

“You’re right Brendon it’s now or never.”

A little nervous he got himself up out of his seat, when he got half way to her she looked at him. Ryan stopped and was about to go back when she flashed him a smile. He noticed how before she kind of looked sad, at this he wanted to know why she was sad.

Michelle was being pulled out on the floor for the millionth time that night, yes she did want to get over her boyfriend, scratch that ex boyfriend but she didn’t want to kill her feet either. While dancing she couldn’t help but feel as though there were eyes watching her. Michelle shook it off and kept on dancing.

“So Michelle there is rumour going around here tonight that the guys of panic are here tonight.”

“Who knows Ramona those could be just rumours we’ve been here most of the night, but then again we could have missed them.”

“Speaking of panic,” said her redheaded friend, “isn’t that Ryan Ross coming this way?”

She looked away from her friend to see she was right. Michelle noticed that he stopped and seemed hesitant to come over. She felt a little nervous but put a brave face on and smiled, he then continued his way over.

“Could I talk to you and possibly have a dance?” He said looking at Michelle.

Michelle looked at her friend and she gave her a look that said go on. She looked back at Ryan and nodded. The two then found themselves a semi-quiet booth in a corner of the club.

“The names Ryan what about you?”

“Michelle, I know who you are you’re fantastic by the way.”

He looked away blushing.

“And very cute.”

This caused him to turn red, he had no idea why this girl he had just met was having this affect on him. A thank you was all his strength could muster.

“I noticed you looked sad earlier, why was that?”

“Oh my ex broke up with me the other day and this is my friend’s way of making me feel better.”

They then looked over in her friend’s direction to notice she was now in deep conversation with the rest of panic.

“Well how about we get out of here?” He asked.

“Sure thing,” she replied.

They decided then to tell the rest of the band and Ramona that they were heading to Michelle’s apartment. The two then glared at their friends for giving them a look that said “don’t do anything we wouldn’t do.” At her apartment they talked for awhile and decided to watch a movie. There they fell asleep, Ryan lying down and Michelle lying on top of him comfortably.

That was three years ago, Ryan and Michelle had their own apartment outside of Las Vegas. They were now living comfortably and very happily, they were laughing at the photos they took over the past three years.
