I quietly walked down the stairs in the complete darkness, wondering why the front door was open and there were bags on the floor. Frank must be home! I cupped a hand over my mouth to stop a nearly-escaping squeal. I missed him so much!
I could see the faint outline of his body over by the door, and instantly walked over to him. I hadn't felt a hug from him in what felt like forever!

I finished bringing in all of my bags, and left them b the front door as I locked the front door behind me. I wondered if Aly was awake, and was extra quiet incase she was sleeping. It was fairly late, so I was guessing that maybe she was.
I was wrong.
She quickly came over to me and I couldn't help but hug her.
