Love Doctor

Game Night

She was froze silent in the car. Nervous as hell. These weren't just little kids she could bring a treat to, these were full blown teenagers. She shook her head and tried to calm down the nerves that had flooded her body. Carlisle seemed to notice her, and chuckled, "Come on." He said.

She sucked in a deep breath of air, and then pushed open the door to his expensive car. She stepped out, adjusted her blouse, and then followed slowly behind him. He opened the door to the extravagant home, and she walked inside. It was very large and spacious.

"She's here!" Came a voice from the stairs.

Destiny looked up and saw the pixie haired beauty walking down the stairs. Behind her was a line of five individuals. She smiled nervously, as Alice stood in front of her, "It's so nice to see you again, Destiny." Alice said. Destiny smiled, "It's nice to see you again also."

Carlisle stepped between them and then began pointing to individuals.

"This one is Emmett, beside him Rosalie. Then there's Jasper, and of course Alice, then Edward, and his girlfriend Bella." He said pointing to each of them.

She stood back and examined each one of them for a moment. All of them were beautiful in their own ways, even Bella; who seemed very out line with the Cullen children. They all had the same liquid topaz colored eyes as Carlisle did, and Destiny couldn't help but to wonder if they were contacts.

"I'm glad you could stop by." Rosalie said.

Carlisle was impressed by how well behaved Rosalie was. He had assumed she would be as bitter and cold hearted as she always was towards humans, but she had proved him wrong. She was smiling, and for once; actually being decent.

"Tonight's game night." Emmett said grinning.

Destiny giggled softly, "Carlisle informed me."
"What games do you like playing?" Alice ask, linking arms with Destiny and pulling her over to the living room.

Destiny shrugged her shoulders, "I don't know really. It's been years since I really sit down and played a board game." She said starring at the multiple boxes they had sitting in the corner of the room.

"Battleship!" Alice called with a smile.
"I don't think so." Emmett said, knowing she would be able to predict where everyones ships were, "How about. . . Monopoly." He said, at least then she wouldn't be able to cheat. . . too much.
"But!" Alice protested, and Edward chuckled, "It's only fair."

She crossed her arms and placed her bottom lip out in a pout. Emmett picked up the game and then packed it into the kitchen. They were going to be playing on the large kitchen table.

'Ha, First time it's actually been used in a long time.' Emmett thought, knowing Edward could read his mind. Edward smirked at his brother and shook his head.

They all gathered around the table. Rosalie was going to be playing the role of the banker. She handed everyone out an even amount of money, as Emmett and Jasper argued over who would hold the property cards. Alice finally reached over and grabbed the cards and said that she would be holding them. Destiny couldn't help but to giggle. Carlisle's children were very entertaining. She fit right in with them. She looked over and noticed Carlisle starring at her, and she instantly felt her cheeks blush.

Emmett laughed noticing this, and under his breath he stated, "Looks like Bella isn't the only one who blushes."

Carlisle narrowed his eyes at his playful sun, and Jasper chuckled. Destiny and Bella both seemed out of the loop as they stared at them. Bella though was used to this.

Emmett rolled the dice first, and then the game started. Destiny laughed along as they all argued about who was winning. Bella was the first out, and then Edward joined her soon after. Destiny had a theory that he only joined her because he didn't want her to feel alone.

Destiny smiled as she landed upon Park Place, which just so happen to be the property Emmett needed. The stronger and more muscular Cullen looked at her and narrowed his eyes, "Don't you dare!" he said. She giggled, and then bought the property. Emmett's mouth dropped, "Rose! Don't give it to her! Don't do it! DON'T!" He pleaded to his blond companion. She rolled her eyes, shook her head, and then handed Destiny the card.

After another hour of playing, they declared Jasper, who had been quiet for most of the evening, the winner. He just smiled, and laughed when Emmett declared a rematch tomorrow night. Destiny allowed a yawn to escape her lips as she stood up from the table.

"Sleepy?" Carlisle ask.
"A bit. Aren't you? You worked so long today. . ."

He grinned, "Not really."

Destiny was going to say something, but the ringing from her pocket made her lose her line of thought. She reached in her pocket and pulled out her cell phone.

"Hello?"
"Hello, is this Destiny? Hannah's aunt?"
"Yes. . . Is there something wrong?"
"Northing's wrong, however Hannah won't go to sleep with the other girls. I think she misses her dad." The host of the sleep over informed her.
"Can I get your directions? I'll be right there."

Destiny pulled out a piece of paper and pen from her purse, which she always kept for times like this and jotted down the address. Once she hung up her phone, she remembered she didn't have her car.

"Problem?" Carlisle ask.

She sighed, "Hannah can't go to sleep. . . I guess she just misses her dad; or sister, or something. I don't know, but I need to go get her."

Carlisle smiled, "Come on, we'll go pick her up, and then I'll take you two home."

She nodded her head and then walked into the living room where all of the kids were still hanging out.

"You leaving already?" Edward ask.

She frowned, "My niece needs me."
"You're coming back soon, right?" Emmett ask.

She chuckled, "Possibly." She said, looking towards Carlisle. He just grinned, "Come on." He said, pulling open the front door. The two of them made their exit.
