Ireland was a perfectly happy girl, even though her home life was far from joyful. Her parents constantly fought, and it didn’t always stay verbal. But music kept it from affecting the person she was. When Ireland accidentally took a hit to the head in one of her parents’ fights, she loses her hearing, and will never be able to get it back. Now she’s trapped in the one thing she hates the most—silence.
