Would you carry me to the end

Leaving Phillips, Mikey wasn't fully satisfied with the answers he had
received. He felt like everything was falling around him and the woman
that he had fallen in love with he didn't know at all and to Mikey that
was what was hurting the most.

Getting home Mikey crept to his room so as not to wake anyone where he
placed the red folder on the bed, He didn't want to open it again but he
knew that curiosity would get the better of him and he would need to
look at it again.

Finally hoping in to bed Mikey couldn't help himself and opened the
folder again where he picked up the photo's of Sienna holding the
newborn baby, Mikey looked at the photo for sometime wanting to know
more about this little girl that now existed.

Falling asleep Mikey had a dreamless sleep, where as Phillip had stayed
up the rest of the night thinking about his daughter and her child that
she had given up for adoption, he never meant for Mikey to find out this
way especially as Sienna was no longer around to explain the situation,
Phillip was riddled with guilt at not having told Mikey earlier when he
had a chance to. As he thought he started to remember what Sienna had
told him when she first found out the news.

Flashback late 2002

Sienna had just taken the pregnancy test, she waited in anticipation
to her the time seemed to be going really slowly, holding it she began
to pace up and down the bathroom hoping time would go quicker, Finally
hearing the alarm go off that she had set. Sienna looked slowly down at
the little white stick that would determine her fate.

Looking at it she saw the blue line, standing there Sienna tried to
comprehend what she was seeing. Sienna didn't know what to do she was
only 19 and had just found out she was pregnant because her boyfriend of
the time had decided to take advantage of her and sexually violate her.

As Sienna continued to think she knew that the only person she could
turn to her was her father, waiting for him to arrive Sienna wasn't
scared as she knew her father would understand. Finally home Phillip
walked in to the kitchen where he saw his daughter sitting at the table
staring in to thin air.

"Darling are you ok" Phillip asked as he wondered over to his
daughter
"No..." Sienna looked up at her father "I'm pregnant"
Phillip stood there in disbelief but taking in the words his daughter
was telling him "Honey we will get through this"

End of Flashback

Phillip opened his eyes after thinking back to how his daughter was when
she was pregnant, he decided to go and get some rest as he knew that
Mikey would be back around eventually wanting more questions answered.

Awaking the next morning Mikey had the itch to find out as much as possible about this child that Sienna had way before they were married, he wasnt deterred he felt the need to get to the bottom of the situation at hand.

His love for Sienna was still the same and after thinking about it for sometime he realised that Sienna done what she felt was best at the time, his wife had been a victim and was young when it happened, He couldn’t be angry with her even if she wasnt around. Mikey knew that Sienna if she had the chance she would have opened to him even if it had taken some time and unfortunately he never got that time for an explanation.

Mikey walked down the hallway where he found his parents awake and eating breakfast.
“Morning Honey” Donna said
“Hey Ma” Mikey responded
“Your up late...Couldn’t you sleep?”
“Nah not really...I went through some of Sienna’s stuff and I had to go and see Phillip about it...I needed answers so after this that’s where I’m going?”
“What’s going on, Is there anything you want to talk about?”
“I don’t know...I just learnt some stuff and I’m just trying to make sense of it...I found out that Sienna had a child 4 years ago...She was raped so she put the child up for adoption”
“Oh my god Mikey...are you sure?”
“Yeh it’s all in here” Mikey said pointing at the red folder “I just need more answers”
“Oh darling..That is so sad...she never told you?”
“Nah she didnt and I don’t blame her for that...I know Sienna would have been scared and she had the cancer I’m sure it was the last thing on her mind she would have tried to forget...As she once told me she hated putting her problems on everyone and she always pushed away the ones she loved”
“Well Mikey your father and I are here to help if you need us or just want to talk”
“Thanks Ma!” Mikey said giving his mother a kiss.

Finally leaving the house Mikey drove back to Phillip’s to talk more about the situation that was at hand.

On the other side of the country in Seattle there was a little girl crying wondering why her Mummy and Daddy wouldn’t wake up, plodding along to the next room where her grandparents were asleep she jumped on there bed to wake them up, only once again grandma nor grandpa would wake either.

She started to yell their names “Grandma...Grandpa wake up please” she said in a cute little voice.

There was nothing, she couldn’t understand that no one was waking, going to her room she decided to
go and play with her dolls until her parents woke up, only that never happened.

Arriving at work Maria was surprised to see the Mr and Mrs Madden’s car still in the driveway, walking in to the house she called out there names but there was no answer, walking up stairs she called again but still no answer she began to assume they must have commuted to work another way.

Walking in to the bedroom she saw red and started to scream. The little girl came running as she had heard, Maria turned around to see the little girl standing there, running to her she grabbed the child in her arms so as to cover her eyes from seeing the dead bodies and the blood that soaked the sheets.
