Evelyn’s POV

Not long after jumping I had gotten extremely cold and I was bored with watching Jacob fawn over Bella so I walked over and told her that I wanted to go home and warm up, she had nodded and told Jacob who looked put out and sent a small glare my way but I just stared back at him and he backed down so Bella and I left.
We pulled up in front of my house and I went to get out but Bella grabbed my arm
“Thanks for coming with me today Eve” I shrugged
“any friend would have” Bella shook her head
“No they wouldn’t have, no other friend knows what I’m going through so thank you” she lent over and hugged me and I hugged her back.
I then went to get out of the car again but someone appeared in front of me. I jumped back in shock and looked at the small pixie like girl in front of me. Bella looked over stunned before she scrambled out of the car and threw her arms around the girl exclaiming
“Alice!” I raised a brow realizing this was Jasper’s ex and right now I didn’t really care so I went to move away but Alice grabbed my arm and said pleadingly
“please stay, you have to help me” I stopped and looked at her saying
“why do you need my help?” Alice frowned as she told us
“I had a vision of you guys cliff diving and stupidly thought it was you committing suicide, I told Edward and Jasper and now they’ve gone to Italy to get themselves killed by the Volturi!” Bella gasped and I could see tears gathering in her eyes as I stared at Alice and asked slowly
“Jasper is going to get himself killed?” Alice nodded and I stared at her before I looked at Bella who was crying and I said
“then go and stop them” I went to turn around again but this time Bella was the one who stopped me and she frantically spoke
“we have to go and stop them Eve, it’s the only way you know they won’t believe it unless they see us” I stared at the ground hard before I looked into her eyes and whispered
“I am dead” Bella cried even more and Alice said
“you can live again, all we have to do is go and get them, Jasper has been a wreck without you and it wasn’t his idea not to contact you, Edward thought it best and Jasper listened thinking Edward wiser” I looked intently at Alice as she spoke and when she finished I looked at Bella again before looking back at my house before I sighed and said to Bella
“I’m not forgiving Edward for a long time” she nodded and I rushed inside where I grabbed some clothes and left another note for mom before we went to Bella’s truck and did the same at hers then we sped off to the airport.
We reached the airport in no time and Alice bought tickets for the next flight to Italy. When we were on the plane we sat in our seats and I watched as Bella fidgeted and listened to Alice talk about what had been happening in Alaska. I just stared out the window at the endless sky stretching out in front of me and hoped we got there before they got themselves killed.
We reached the sunny country and as soon as we touched down and the seat belt lights flashed we had each taken ours off and were already heading down to the front of the plane having only brought a small bag with each of us. Having no luggage meant we could bypass the conveyor and head straight to the information booth where Alice had arranged for a car to be ready for us. She got the keys and we were soon zooming off towards the Volturi headquarters.
