Addicting Emotions

Evelyn’s POV

Waking up the next morning to the sound of my alarm I groan and turn over pulling the covers over my head to block out the sound but it didn’t really work, especially when my door banged open and mom came in singing
“wake up darling it’s a beautiful morning” I groaned
“go away weird perky person” mom just laughed and pulled the covers off of my head and looking at me she said
“get up, dressed and eat then you have to go to school” I groaned and tried to get the covers back off of her
“why do I have to go, can’t I be home schooled? Then I don’t have to get up until like midday” mom shook her head and with one tug pulled the covers completely off of me and said
“get up now, there’s food downstairs” I huff but pull myself out of bed and over to the bathroom where I take a shower before dressing in black skinny flare jeans with a black camisole and then I pulled a Grey v-neck jumper over that and I pulled on some Grey Uggs as well and headed downstairs where my school bag is still waiting from where I dropped it yesterday.
Sitting at the table I pick up my spoon and dig into the cereal that mom had put out for me and ate it. As I was eating mom comes in and stands in front of me putting in an earring and says
“I’m going on a date tonight with Charlie so I expect you to behave yourself and do you want me to make you some food or can you do it yourself?” I shrug
“I’ll probably make some myself, you go out and don’t worry about me I’ll be fine” mom grins and kisses the top of my head before moving off and grabbing her bag from the side saying
“are you finished and have you got everything you need?” I nod and put my bowl in the sink before grabbing my bag and following her out the door.
I get out of the door and close it with a slight bang and a wave before watching her as she pulls away from the school. I then hitch my bag on my shoulder and head over to where Bella and the rest of the Cullens are stood.
Reaching them I smile and say
“hey guys” they all give various greetings and I turn to Bella with a massive grin and gush
“aren’t your dad and my mom so cute?” Bella grins
“yeah I think they really like each other and did you hear that they are going on a date tonight?” I nod and say
“yeah mom’s excited” Bella agrees
“yeah so is dad, I haven’t seen him like this and it’s really funny because he actually shaved this morning” we both laugh and talk about how good it’s going to be with them going out until the bell rings and I look at Bella and say
“I’ll see you in Biology” she nods and waves and I turn around and follow Emmett and Rosalie to class.
Algebra was spent doing equations out of the books again and Economics was pretty boring to be honest, I don’t know why I chose it as a class.
Going into Biology I see that Bella, Edward and Jasper are already seated so I hang up my coat and make my way over to my seat.
Sitting down I pull out my new book and a notepad before looking up and seeing Jasper grinning at me
“what?” I ask and he shrugs
“nothing, you just are really happy today” I grin at him and say
“well mom’s going on a date tonight and I have the house to myself” Jasper shakes his head with a chuckle and asks
“why is this a good thing?”
“because it means I can spend all night watching movies” Jasper chuckles again and I turn to look in front of me and see Bella talking to Edward but I lean forward and tap her on the shoulder. She turns to face me and asks
“what’s up?” I grin and ask
“you wanna come around my place tonight and watch some films?” Bella grins and nods
“yeah it should be fun, you want me to bring anything?” I shrug
“yeah any films you wanna watch, I might not have them” she nods and turns around as the teacher walks in and I sit back properly in my seat, seeing Jasper smiling in the corner of my eye.
The teacher stands at the front and claps his hands together once before addressing the class
“OK I want you all to take a slide from the front and examine it under a microscope, I then want you to diagram it and label that diagram telling me as well what family and kingdom it’s from. When you’ve finished with one then move onto another and I want 5 done by the end of the lesson from each of you” he then moves out of the way and we all file up there to grab a slide.
Sitting down I put my slide on the scope and adjust it until I can see the details then take a piece of plain paper and a pencil and start drawing.
“so what kind of films do you like?” Jasper asks from beside me and I glance at him before looking back at the scope and see him drawing before saying
“well I like all sorts of films really but my favorite are the fantasy films”
“really, why?” I look up from my scope to stare ahead a moment as I think of a reason, when I have I go back to my drawing and reply
“well I like the idea of there being things out there that I don’t know about, it makes the world more fun, things that I might never know about being there but it’s like the film takes you into a different world because this one isn’t always so fun” I see Jasper look up at me sharply but I just concentrate on my work hoping that he didn’t notice my slip up and he does, going back to his drawing and I clear my throat before asking
“so what type of films do you like?” he grins and says
“black and white movies, the old ones with Fred Astaire in them” I furrow my brows and look at him and he chuckles “yeah I know but I like them” I shrug
“yeah they’re good I just don’t watch them all that often” he nods and we get back to our work.
I’m on my forth diagram when I glace over and see that Jasper is sat back doing nothing. Stopping and looking at him I raise a brow and ask
“are you finished?” he nods and my mouth drops open “you’re kidding right?” he shakes his head with a grin
“no, I just know this stuff” I purse my lips in question before saying
“lucky” he laughs and I go back to what I was doing.
15 minutes later I’m finished and I sit back like he does with my hands linked in front of my stomach and my feet crossed at the ankle. Bending my head slightly I look at Jasper and say
“hey, I’m bored now” Jasper smiles and shakes his head
“what do you want me to do about it?” he asks and I untangle my fingers to tap my lip as I think
“um you can get up and dance in front of the class for me” Jasper raises a brow but makes to get up and I laugh grabbing his arm, pulling him back into his seat, noticing that he’s cold but the fan is on so it could be from that.
“Don’t you nut! I didn’t mean it!” he laughs
“well don’t say it then” I huff and start to retort but the bell rings and the sound of scraping chairs and zippers on bags sounds and I glare at him mouthing
‘Next time’ he rolls his eyes and we both pack our stuff.
Trigonometry was spent with Jasper helping me and then we messed around for the rest of the lesson making paper airplanes, Jaspers' planes were good but I have spent years perfecting my airplanes in class when I got bored with the curriculum so naturally mine rocked though because they flew so well one hit the teacher who gave me a warning but when she turned her back Jasper and I started giggling but she heard and turned around quickly so we quickly picked up books and made it look like we were actually doing something.
Lunch was spent at the Cullens usual table and I was talking to Bella about the night to come.

Bella’s POV
When Rosalie pulled Eve’s attention away I turned to Edward and asked quietly
“So does her mom really like my dad?” Edward looked down at me and smiled, bringing his face closer to mine he whispered
“yes they really like each other, you have nothing to worry about” I nodded and kissed his cheek before pulling away and getting involved in the conversation again.

Evelyn’s POV
Chemistry was filled with an experiment to make Aspirin which stunk the room out and the teacher has had to lock the room up and no one can use it for the rest of the day. Writing was rather boring as well though I wrote a good beginning to a story about a girl who when she goes to sleep at night goes into another world all together filled with fantasy creatures. In PE I had to dodge Bella’s pitches because while they came my way, they were all aimed at my head. Then Literature was just my writing up a report about the book I had been reading.
As soon as school finished I headed out and said goodbye to the Cullens from across the parking lot and started walking down the road to head for home.
As soon as I got in I was accosted by mom who rushed up to me and grabbed my hand dragging me up the stairs saying
“come on! I need wardrobe advice and you know that you’re the only person around here that can actually dress I mean have you seen the way they dress around here I mean it’s all winter clothes around here and I’m sorry but for a date I am not bundling up in a winter coat and long johns!” I laughed as I was pulled into her room and sat on the bed where she had a load of clothes already laid out.
Mom ended up showing me a load of outfits she had chosen and asking me to choose between them, I ended up combining some things from different outfits into one and she exclaimed that she liked it before kicking me out so she can get ready.
I went downstairs and set up the living room so that there were plenty of pillows and food to munch on while watching the films.
Bella turned up not long later and we had a great time watching a ton of films like Iron Man, I had a load of Marvel films because I love superheroes.
We fell asleep on the sofa, me curled up in the armchair and Bella sprawled over the sofa with a bowl of popcorn on her stomach while I had a bag of marshmallows upended on me.
