It's in the Blood
I woke up feeling like I was born again, I was completely back to health and I felt like doing at least 10 back flips. I got up suddenly remembering the choice I had to make. Either refuse being with Gerard and go back to my weak self and eventually die, or join in with the vampires and leave Vamptopia forever. I thought and thought, then thought some more almost all day till I finally made my decision. What did I choose you ask?
I would love to live, every living breathing human does, but at the same time, being in my state I finally have a chance to be happy for once in my miserable life. Gerard opened a side of me that seemed to be dead for the longest time. And just saying no would leave a bad taste in my mouth.
That night I put on my hoodie and jeans and gently woke Pixie up
"What is it?" she mumbled hardly waking up
"I'm going to go in the woods" I whispered to her "If I don't come back you have all my belongings and room" this catches her attention and was about to protest when I covered her mouth
"Don't you dare, I have to do this, don’t follow me" then I walked out, little did I know she followed me anyway.
Tonight was had the deepest snow Vamptopia had ever had in forever. I slowly walked in the deep snow looking around; I was sceard, even terrified. But I had made my choice and maybe later it will be for the better. I looked at one side of the woods and saw two little girls playing with their dolls; they turned to see me and smiled showing their fangs. They acted as if I was one of them, I guess they can tell when someone is about to make the change. I walked a few more good yards when I felt someone grabbed my hand and jerked me to the side. I looked up at the sight of Gerard looking at me
"You came" he said smiling softly
"Why wouldn't I?" I replied smiling myself. There was an awkward silence when he finally broke the silence asking
"What have you decided?” I looked at him making last minute thought then said rather quickly
"Just change me and get it over with” I have never seen him smile so wide since we have been talking
"You won't regret it my love" he said then went straight to my neck and the sharp pain returned; only this time it was a thousand times more painful. I yelped as my energy was sucking out of me, I looked at Gerard with heavy eyes when I watched him bite his wrist and placed his wrist close to my lips
"Drink" was all he said and I did what I was told, the blood tasted bland at first, but slowly tasted real sweet soon after. He made me let go and everything went dizzy, I fell backwards and closed my eyes, resting as my body was dieing.
