Vamptopia

I woke up to the distant sound of a party. I walked to the balcony and looking at a distance was light far far away. I was quite curious and decided to go and investigate. I put on my hoodie over my shirt and pj's and snuck out. It wasn't a long walk, just across the woods but I didn't risk getting caught so I hid behind a rather large tree to watch a celebration. All of these people wore black and red singing songs that were completely off the wall to me. One of them shouted

"He's back!" and look to see Gerard coming in the party, everyone was bowing at him and he got on the dinning table and shouted

"Tonight, we celebrate our return to Vamptopia and rid the evil that is fear from the humans!" everyone cheered, for the first time I was terrified, but at the same time, I was extremely excited. Next thing I know my mouth was covered and was dragged to the group

"I found her spying" said the guy who grabbed me, he was rather large and was sort of hurting me with his grip

"Bob!" Gerard shouted "let her go she's fine!!" Bob sighed and let me go; now a normal person would run, but I stayed and looked at this "Vampire King"

"Well we meet again Rhiannon" he said to me gently getting off the table and walking to me, he was showing his teeth this time, reveling his long fangs

"y-yea" I said shaken "guess we did" he gently touched my shoulders calming my nerves and whispered

"It’s ok, you won't get hurt" I looked at his eyes again, and nodded. "Rhiannon here is the girl that we hear from the city" Gerard announced

"The one who can sing?" one of them asked which I finally spoke

"I sing a little bit" all of them looked at me as if I was some goddess

"Well you have a beautiful voice" another said "I know when it's time for a good day's sleep when you sing" I made a mental note to myself never to sing out loud again, you never know when people were hearing you.

"Please sing for us now" Gerard asked, I shook my head

"I don't think so" I said but Gerard interrupted me by saying

"Sing the song I gave to you under the tree" I looked at him and the song kicked in. and I slowly and nervously started singing

"Took a train down to New Orleans
They shot me full of ephedrine"

They all crowded around me listening, Gerard nodded the band to play and slowly they did slowly but surely I gained confidence

"This is how we like to do it in the murder scene
Have we settled up the score?"

For the rest of the night I was the entertainment, singing the song with all my might, I’m pretty sure the entire city heard me

"If you were here, I never had a fear
So come one live your life, but I miss you more then I did yesterday!"
