My Best Friends Daughter

-Matt's P.O.V-

-Back at Home-

"Daddy, can I go outside and wait for mama?", she said as she put her
hand on the door knob. " Yeah, but stay in the front were I can see you
ok.", " Ok daddy, I will.", and she was out in a flash. As she was
outside waiting for Val, me and the guys were in the living room brain
storming on our next song. " You guys have anything yet?", Zacky asked
as he scratched his head. " Not yet, no", Brian said. " Well, this is
what I have so far. Ok, a living nightmare, asleep but still aware, the
endless torture, the painless pleasure.", " And in this part I will
scream. I grasp myself, trying to regain control, I experience and
learn in another faction of my mind." I said as they all nodded in
approval. " I like it, I like it!" Jimmy said as he started writting
the lyrics down. 10 minutes later and we had a nameless song. " Now all
we need is a fucking title man", Johnny said as he sipped his cold
beer. " I got it!", Jimmy said as he snapped his fingers. " The Art of
Subconscious Illusion". And we all decided that we were going to go
with that song title. " I'll be back guys, imma go check on Ivy", I
said as I got up and walked towards the door. I look out of the door
and saw Ivy playing with the little girl from next door. " Ivy, what
are you doing?", I asked. " Im playing barbie with Lily daddy", " Ok
baby, im just checking." I replied and went back inside to the guys.

-Val's P.O.V-

As I was walking towards my house, I seen my lil munchkin playing in the
front yard with Lily. I tip toed her way so that I can surprise her,
but it didn't work. " Mommy!", Ivy yelled as she ran my way jumping on
me. " Hi baby girl, how was your day?", I said as I kissed her and we
sat on the front steps. " It was fine mama. Daddy and uncle Jimmy took
me to the doctors". " Oh yeah, and what happend at the doctors?", I
asked her as she jumped on my lap. " The doctor gave me a shot right
here", she said as she pointed to the pink bandage on her arm. " Aww
baby, mama will make it all better for her pumpkin", I said as I kissed
her booboo. " Thanks mama. Can I go play with Lily now", she asked as
she wrapped her arms around my neck giving me a wet kiss. " Go ahead
love", I said as she hopped off the stairs, skipping her way to her
friend. So I got up and brushed the dirt of my pants and made my way
inside. The guys were all here just hanging out like always. " Hey
baby", Matt said as he kissed me. " Hi love", I said back hugging him
tightly. " What are you guys doing?" I asked as I set my bag on the
floor. " We just finished with our new song", Zacky said as he handed
me a piece of paper with the lyrics on it. "Check it out", he said and
smiled. So I started reading it and loved what I saw, until I seen a
section that said *Val's Part*. " Umm, why does it say Val's part?", I
asked confused. " Well, we were wondering if you could sing that part"
Johnny asked. " Not sing, scream", Brian stated. " Yeah, defenitley.
I'll do it", I said smiling. "Alright. So it looks like we will be in
the recording studio tomorrow", " You guys already told Larry about
it?", " Yup, we called him as soon as we finished and he thinks it
would be awesome if you did that part", Matt said. " Wow, that is too
cool", I said giddly. " Matt, you think your parents will watch Ivy
while we go?", " Of course, they already said yeah", he told me as I
sat on his lap. " We are on our way to high pay!" Johnny shouted as he
put his glass in the air to a cheer.
