A Little Thing Called Magic

Star's POV

I stared blankely at the woman. She spoke again. "we're going to adopt you three. And we'll all live in your house, so you won't even have to move. Things'll go back to normal for you guys."

Romeo stood up. "Things will NEVER go back to normal." he said angrily. Then he stormed out of the room. Yu grabbed my hand and followed Romeo. Romeo stood against the wall with his forehead pressed against it. Yu grabbed his shoulders and pulled him away. His face was revealed and tears rolled down his cheeks. I hugged him and he rested his head on my shoulder. Then I felt Yu's arms wrap around the both of us.

"At least we'll be together," I whispered.

"It's not the same, Romeo whispered back.

"No, it's not." Yu started. He paused. "But we have to make the best of it." He pulled away from me and Romeo then walked back into the room. I followed, dragging Romeo behind me.

The man and woman stood holding hands. They gave us an encouraging smile. "Would you like to go home now kids?" she asked us.

Yu gave a weak smile. "Let's go... mom"
