The war between angels and demons had begun long before life existed, before the world was created. Angels , who represented light and goodness, and demons who represented darkness and evil were destined to be enemies. This was a fact even the tiniest creature knew about.
It was impossible for them to be anything other than enemies. No records could deny this, at least, they were destroyed and those who were involved were likely perished for the sake of the golden rule and reputation.
And the most forbbiden thing that could ever happen---including to the rebellious demons---was romance.
