Those were the last words Shane Oakley and Willow Salcedo spoke to each other after they graduated from Cheshire Academy. It was that promise that kept them together in the month after graduation, and it is that promise, as well as the opportunity to go to college at Stanford, that now brings Willow to sunny California. And, as she moves in with Shane, her now fiancée, in July, everything seems to be going according to plan. But, when a precocious seven-year-old orphan waltzes into Willow’s life, as well as someone Willow would rather not see again, things get rather tense. As Willow and Shane begin to butt heads, things stop looking so bright.
