I Met You At The Crossroads Of Love And Hate

I Am Definitely In Trouble

Jimmy's POV

I got up from the booth to go get Yasmine her drinks. I stood there at the bar thinking of what she wanted. Then I realized I didn't know what she wanted, so I just decided to get one of everything.

"What would you like, sir?" The bartender asked.

"One of everything and send them to my usual booth." I said casually shrugging. We came here so often that the workers knew us and always knew where we would sit.

I walked back the booth and saw Yasmine laughing at something Johnny said. The thought of me competing with Johnny for the affections for this woman was very sad. Maybe the fact that she was having an actual conversation with him and laughing to something he said made me look like a rookie.

She looked up at me with her sparkling eyes and beautiful smile, "What did you order?" She asked before biting on her bottom lip.

I swallowed hard looking at her lips. Is it possible for a girl you barely met to drive you crazy and want to have her body there and then despite of who's looking? That was what this woman was doing to me now.

"One of everything." I grumbled.

She looked a bit shocked. "I wanted to get drunk not alcohol poisoning." She said in a joking tone as everyone laughed. The drinks arrived not a minute later and I didn't have to worry about only her drinking it because the guys helped her out by taking one or two drinks.

I noticed as she had her drink in her hand, engaged in a conversation with Johnny, that she was beyond beautiful and funny. She couldn't be single with such qualities. I praised the guy who was that man and even envied him.

I moved taking a seat next to her, "You know," I whispered in her ear, "I wouldn't let something like that happen to you."

Her body stiffened and she reached over to grab a shot throwing it down her throat. Before I knew it she took a few more down and slammed the glass on the table.

She turned pressing her lips to my ear, "I don't know if it's a good idea for us to sleep together." She mumbled her words rather slurred.

"And why is that, babe?" I asked her wrapping my arm around her waist.

"Because we both know if we were sober we'd be arguing and biting each others head off twenty-four seven." She said trying to explain her point.

"Who wouldn't mind fighting with you twenty-four seven that would mean we'd be together twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week. I could imagine everything we could get done in that time." I smirked.

"Hey Jimmy, stop hogging Yasmine. We want to talk to her too." Matt whined. He most likely only did it to piss me off.

"As a matter of fact, do you want to dance with me Yasmine?" Johnny asked hopeful.

"Sure." she answered.

As she was getting out of her seat she took another shot tilting her head back letting the liquor slide down her throat with a bit of a burn and placed her hand on my arms while doing so. That small, innocent, and non-sexual gesture told me she wanted to stay here...with me.

I smiled and leaned back in the booth as they walked out to the dance floor.

"I had so much fun tonight." I said smiling.

Matt looked at me perplexed. It was the same look the guys gave me in the car ride over here when I was making fun of Zacky.

"Dude, you're already whipped." Matt said shaking his head. "Is there a girl we don't know about?" he asked.

I put my hand over my heart and pretended to be hurt. "I'm offended. Do you all of guys really think so little of me?"

"No, we just know your ass well enough." Matt said dryly.

"Oh, okay. It's nice to know your best friends know a little something about you." I said before looking over at Yasmine and Johnny who paused on the dancing and were talking. They looked like nothing more than friends did.

"And don't try to change the subject Sullivan." Matt said with a smirk, "Who's the girl?"

"Can I not just be happy without there being a girl in the picture?" I asked getting a bit annoyed. I didn't know why but I didn't want to tell anyone that I had a strong attraction to this woman I barely met. I especially didn't want to tell the guys.

"Well, as long as we've known you, no you can't be happy without some woman. But hey, there's always a first for everything. At least maybe this girl would calm you down and then who knows, you might be settling down for good."

I grunted rolling my eyes, "Matt, would you stop with all this settling down shit. Not everyone wants to settle down like you."

Ever since he and Val decided to be engaged, he's been pushing the idea of having a family at every one of us. We're happy for him but it get annoying. Moreover, he's been trying to find me a steady lady. Those were his words not mine. The thought of slowing things down to begin a family of my own scared the hell out me. Nevertheless, when I thought of those striking gray eyes the thought felt comfortable. I barely met this girl and she has me thinking of thoughts I usually have no problem staying clear of. I mentally slapped myself.

I looked back to where she and Johnny were but the spot was empty without both. I looked around, saw Johnny over by the bathrooms, and then saw her coming out of one a second later. For some reason, seeing her relieved me.

They walked back over to where Matt and me sat and slid into the booth, a lot closer than necessary. She looked like she had just ran three miles with bright red cheeks and her hair slightly disheveled.

"I'm so parched." She said then leaned over grabbing a Vodka Tonic. After her glass was emptied into her system she turned to see, "You are so cute, Jimmy." She said tapping my nose making Matt and Johnny laugh. "Now that I look at you, really look at you. I actually wanna sleep with you."

Who would actually be able to pass up an offer like that? I was tempted to agree and take her to the closest place to fuck her brains out but I knew that if she were sober she wouldn't have offered me that.

"No, not when you're drunk. If you still want to when you're sober we'll go at it till the chickens sings." I moved closer to her so that only she could hear me, "I'm not going to take advantage of you being drunk because I sort of like you, okay?"

She looked at me as if she wanted to argue, but she nodded her head saying, "Okay. I'm going to get a bottle of water." She stood up and stumbled her way to the bar.

"So, did you have fun hogging Yasmine out on the dance floor?" Matt asked Johnny.

"Hell yeah. She's nice and down to earth. Not at all like these bitchy girls who thinks everything has to be about them." It was obvious Johnny had taken a liking to Yamine just not in a way a man looks at a woman.

"So, you think anyone is going to tap that tonight?" he asked trying to look hopeful.

Maybe he was saying it to piss me off. Well even if he was, I wanted to throw myself across the table and beat the shit out of him.

"Could you please not talk about her like she's a cheap whore?" I told him sighing.

Then we could hear Matt's voice sending vibrations through his laugh. We gave him a questioning look.

"I just got a text from Zacky. You know the girl Yasmine was with earlier that we thought left with Syn?"

We both gave him a small nod trying to make him get to the point faster.

"Well turns out she pasted out in his car thinking it was hers. He didn't even know she was in there until she scared the shit out of him outside his house. Guess she's staying there for the night. He said she was way past trashed." He explained.

"I'm not trashed." Yasmine said walking back up to us with a water bottle in her hand. She took a seat next to me again and leaned her head against my arm, so I picked it and placed it around her shoulder.

"We know you're not trashed," I said giving Matt and Johnny a look,"but it's about time I head home. Do you want to go with me so Johnny won't rape you by the end of the night?"

She looked at me nodding her head enthusiastically as Johnny cursed at me every word he could think of. I sighed then said goodbye to the guys with Yasmine following me.

I headed out the parking lot but came to a halt when I couldn't hear Yasmine's heel against the concrete. I turned and gave her a perplexed face, which was the same face she was giving me.

"What are we doing?" She asked.

"Getting a cab." I stated.

"Well you can forget all about that. I was supposed to be the designated driver but I guess that's you tonight." She said then took a key out of her bra throwing it to me.

I caught it swiftly in the air. She turned and it was my turn to follow her. When we got into the car and I started in and moved us out of the parking lot.

"You know we're not going to do anything." I said as I stopped at a light.

"Why not?" She asked, "I know you want to and you know I want to. So why won't we just face the fact and get on with it already." She said with a smile that told me she knew what she was doing.

"Here, let me make a deal with you."

She narrowed her eyes but nodded. The car started moving once again.

"We won't do anything tonight but if you want to tomorrow when you're sober," I emphasized, "I have no problem giving you want you want for as long as you want." I grinned at her pulling up to my house.

As I helped her out the car, she placed her lips to my ear and murmured, "I like your place."

I nodded as she let go of my arm and guided her inside of my home.

"I expected you to live in a condo that looked like a pig stine inside. However, surprisingly, it's clean. I would have never guessed you were a clean person."

I smirked shrugging, "I like dirty though, I can be very dirty if you want."

She smiled shaking her head, "Oh Jimmy, do you want me to keep that deal? Besides the one room I'm curious about is yours." She said skipping up the stairs.

I followed her every step and she came to the French double door and turned to smile at me. God, how I wanted to see that smile everyday. Maybe even every morning. Damn, I have to stop thinking like this or I'll soon be like Matt and a pussy is not what I wanted to be.

Then her smile faded and before I knew it, she fell against a wall and slid to the floor. I ran a few feet that was separating us and checked to make sure she had a pulse and there was no blood. I relaxed once I found her pulse and my worried face was replaced with a relieved smile. I sighed shaking my head not knowing what to do with this one. She just passed out, out cold.

Oh no.
