Of all people, it's Carter.

He catches me watching

and says:

"Hey, you're the girl i ran into earlier, right?"

A small, barely audible "mhm"

escapes my lips.

"Well, Tara. I guess i'm good at keeping promises, i said i'd see you later,

and look here i am, and there you are."

"Yeah, i guess so.....": I say.

Halfway through study hall,

a note appears on my desk.

It reads;

Tara-

You seem cool, maybe we should hang sometime.

Gimme a call.
