Status: Its summer vacation so for the most part no updates
High School Is Horrible...For the Most Part
Week 2
Week two...not really what I expected. I thought it would be like week 1 for a bit. Totally wrong.
I started getting more homework from honors history. Homework from that class isn't that bad except Cornell notes. They take a long time to complete and its annoying at times when you get distracted easily. It's Cornell everyday as well, for each section. We are covering the Greeks and Romans at the moment. Now that isn't all on Friday our teacher introduced IHOS. Now it may not seem bad, which it isn't its just how long they usually are. IHOS stands for Identify Historical Context Outcome and Significance.
Lets go on to Geometry, easy class. It's pretty boring, but a very easy class well for me that is because I'm sort of a math whiz and everyone comes to me for help. Anyways we're still in reviewing of Algebra at the moment, but doing geometry at the same time. I hope i do well in the future because I don't like geometry. It's a math subject that I have bombed in the past.
Biology...hm...well what can I say? It's still the same, same boring class, with the same boring teacher. Oh we did a lab involving measuring which was sort of interesting. I look forward to better labs, I've used a microscope before and its pretty awesome. Can't wait to use it again, but overall nothing else happened this week.
Alright now to Honors English. Teacher is still being funny, which is cool. There was something scary that happened however. This week we are starting to work on our first essay, and the day before we are gonna work on it he says, "Tomorrow we're gonna have lots of fun! We are gonna work on our first essay. mwahahahahahaha!!!". So now our rough draft is due Thursday of week three.
Weight training nothing much happened. Same old same old. Moving on now.
Spanish! The last class of the day. I wish it was more interesting and fun, because its just totally ruining Spanish for me. And I'm a fluent Spanish speaker. Hopefully it will be fun.
To top it all off the homework. There's A LOT. I'm used to homework, but I can NOT focus when I have my hay fever. All my concentration is lost and I don't know what's going on. This has been a stressful week because of it. I hope next week will be better than this.
