Rush

First Dream

Bright turqouise green gradually changed to a dark indigo as the afternoon fell to evening. A radiantly boldened red covered the sky from across the sea, and sat teasingly above the water. The sand was warm against my bare feet and an eye-piercing sun view met my sight.
My now tanned blonde hair rested against my forehead, but hung somewhat lower. The faint breeze brushed my hair away and cooled my skin. I waded along the sand getting comfortable with the feel of the water, while broken sea shells and loose peices of sand danced around my feet, every time a larger waves' remains washed in. I took a deep breath and started to swim out farther.
When I reached the point where my board was floating high enough on the water, when I didn't sink if I got on, I layed down and paddled. A wave was rising quickly before me, although I didn't expect it to be that big, there was no escape. The ominous figure rose to an endless peak. It was like being on death row, you have no other choice but to go. I stood balancing myself and hoping I'd live to tell the tale, but fate was fate, I couldn't argue.
