Time Is Galleons

Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes

When everyone got back into the small kitchen inside, everyone was sweating except for Hermione and I. Mrs. Weasley looked at everyone and blinked. Soon, she placed her hands on her plump hips, shaking her head. "Everyone, shower now. I want you all clean for lunch. Which will be in an hour. Harry, why don't you take the downstairs shower and Louise can take the upstairs one?" The two of them nodded and made their way to grab their clothes and to head to both bathrooms.

The Weasley house had contained three three bathrooms, but only two of them had places to bathe. The third bathroom was rather small with just a toilet and a sink. Even if it was small, it was cosy. Just like the rest of their house. I couldn't even begin to explain how cosy their house was. Sure, it was very small and alot of floors, but just the feeling you got in it. It was simply amazing. You couldn't get a better feeling of a warm family from any other house than this one. I loved the Burrow. And I loved the Weasley family. I loved them all.

Fred and George had grabbed a towel, wiping their faces. Right after handing it to their younger sister who looked at them in disgust, they headed up to their rooms. Hermione had already followed Ron upstairs into his room. I looked at Ginny and smiled. "That's the twins for you," I said before leaving the small kitchen to go upstairs. I walked into the twin's room. They were just standing next to each other, talking. It wasn't long till they noticed me standing in the door way to their room.

My favourite room in the entire house was the twin's room. They had the second biggest bedroom in the house, coming in second to their parent's room. Everyone else but their parents and them had single rooms. I loved the way their room was set up. Their room was in the shape of a rectangle. On the longer walls, there were two twin sized beds for them. Fred's bed had a quilt that said "Quidditch" and with the colours of white and green for the Irish Quidditch team. On George's, there was also a quilt with the words "Quidditch" on them, 'cept his was red and gold, Gryffindor's colors. In between the beds was a big window that had a pretty view of the lake. Right under the window, was a long nightstand next to both of the boys' beds, sharing it. Alone the rest of the walls were boxes with stuff that I had no idea what was in them and posters.

It wasn't long till George spoke. "Oh, by the way, tomorrow — we're going to the Quidditch World Cup, you're going to."

"What?"

Fred laid on his bed slowly with his feet crossed and his hands behind his head."Yeah, Dad got you a ticket to go with us."

"What?"

"Sorry, should we have told you earlier?"

"He got me a ticket?"

". . .Yes, Abbie. Do we need to say it slower?" George smirked, chuckling slightly.

"I am outraged, not an idiot!"

"Why are you outraged, dear?" Both of them questioned simultaneously.

"I don't want your father paying for me! I'm sure he already has enough people to pay for! I'm sure those were expensive."

"Love, it's fine, Dad didn't mind." Fred reassured me.

"No! I am sending an owl to my father and we're going to pay for my ticket." I looked at George who was sitting on his bed slowly, about to speak up once more.

"With what owl?"

". . .I'll. . .I'll send my cat!" I must have sounded like an idiot, that cat didn't leave my side, never mind go back home.

"That pillock is your shadow!" both of them laughed, looking down at my cat, who was nevertheless standing at my feet.

My head slowly followed their eyes and looked down at Riku. "You're not helping, you know." He merely meowed, not moving. My eyes travelled once more back to the twins. "Let me borrow Pig."

"No," they chimed.

"I'll just ask Ron, then. It's his owl anyways. That bloody owl always seems to be excited to deliver letters."

"Yes, good luck when Pig can't carry anything heavy —"

"—Since he weighs little to nothing."

"Hmph." I leaned down and picked up Riku before sitting on Fred's bed next to his feet. Riku slowly curled up in my lap. Both of them sneered, shaking their heads.

About five minutes later Louise came into the room with her hair damp. "Both of the showers are ready," she said as she looked at both of the twins. They got up from their beds, Fred accidental kicked my butt since I was sitting at his feet. I jerked forward before
looking at his face, which cracked with a smile.

"I'm sorry."

"Fred, you kicked our best friends arse whose a girl, isn't that a little weird?"

"I never thought I'd be able to say that I kicked a girl's arse."

"Well, I'll kick both of your asses in a second." I laughed, making fun of them for saying 'arse.' I know people said it in Britain since when they said 'ass,' they meant donkey. The three of us couldn't help but to make fun of each other for our slang differences.

The twins left the room while saying loudly to the floors above us that they claimed the showers. I looked at Louise who was walking over to her things, I smiled at her and she smiled back. We didn't exactly talk much, even if we were in the same dormitory and both extremely close to the twins. I moved over to George's bed and sat with my back against the wall. Riku followed, laying on top of my feet right after I pulled my knees up to my chest. Gradually, I placed my cheek on my knees and closed my eyes. I listened to Riku's soft purr as I fell into a light doze bit by bit.

Woken up from my light slumber, I didn't open my eyes. I feigned to be asleep. I felt two people sit on each side of me. I could hear Louise's voice, "if you scare her, she's just gonna chase you two until she catches you and get you guys back when you're not expecting it. She did that last time, remember? She put hair dye in your shampoo. Pink hair, that was quite funny. I still have the pictures from that Muggle camera I got."

"Don't worry, Lo —"

"—We'll make sure she doesn't get us back —"

"Yes, because I can't get you back for what you failed horribly at doing." I outstretched my arms, both of my hands landing in their faces, pushing them back. I heard them both whine as I picked my head up, yawning and opening my eyes. Riku was still purring softly.

"How did you — ?"

"I've been best friends with you since I moved over here," I interrupted Fred. "I'm not retarded, I know you both better than anyone." Louise didn't seem to like that. But it could possibly be true. They had told me alot of things that they didn't tell anyone else.

"And that's why we love you, you're not an idiot." Fred stood up from George's bed and grabbed some candy. He handed it to me, "it's really good. It's for not — being an idiot."

"CHILDREN! LUNCH IS READY!" Mrs. Weasley yelled so everyone on every floor could hear.

George and Fred left together, grins upon their faces. I slid my feet out from Riku's warm stomach, trying not to wake him. Louise looked at the candy in my hand as she stood up. "I wouldn't eat that."

"Hm? Why not?" I raised my eyebrow.

"Ton-Tongue Toffee. Fred and George invited it." Without another word, she left the room. I followed right behind her. They invited something? Either it was really good or it was a practical joke. I went with practical joke as I threw it and hit Fred square in the forehead with it. The kitchen filled with soft laughter from anyone who saw.

". . .What was that for?" He blinked a few times as I walked over and took my seat next to George.

"Ton-Tongue Toffee, eh? What does it do?"

"Blimey, Fred, dad would be mad if he knew you tried to give that to Abbie." Ron laughed as his mother stared at the twins angrily.

"Well, you see," Harry started, "Fred gave one to my cousin Dudley as him, George, Ron and Mr. Weasley picked me up from the Dursleys. Dudley, being the fat git he is — ate it."

"His tongue grew to four feet long until they let Dad fix it!" George roared with laughter as the rest of the kitchen did.

I slowly leaned over the table, glaring at Fred, Louise giggling on the side of him. "Just you wait, Fred Weasley, you're in for it when you least expect it."

He looked at me, an evil grin cracked his face. "I doubt that, love. Let's see how well this goes."

I placed my elbow on the table, leaning my cheek on my palm, smiling sweetly. "You forget, Freddie. I visited the States this Summer," I sung innocently in my slight British accent. After living there for two years now, their accent was rubbing off on me, but that was normal.

His grin instantly dropped as he looked sick. Fred began to sink in his chair, he knew the States had a wide variety of jokes.

"You two are your Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes." Mrs. Weasley shook her head. I asked what Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes was. Molly opened her mouth to speak but was interrupted by the twins.

"We've invented a whole lot of things. We'll show you later. We plan on opening a joke shop some day."

I couldn't help but to smile. "I call a job there!" I giggled out, getting excited.

"You already have the job, love." George smiled at me.

Sorry if it was lame, it's kinda of a filler since I wanted to write more about the summer before the Quidditch World Cup, which is next chapter!
And I know, George and Fred are supposed to be in Ron's room, but I didn't read up on that part until after I wrote all of it, so I didn't want to go back and change it all. Please excuse that error! D:
