Help Me, Before I Fall

Hailey James, no not that one… she’s not a character in a TV show, was just an average 16 year old girl. She has always had only 2 friends, but that’s ok, because she trusts them both with her life. Her life, in her eyes, was perfect. She had 2 of the best friends a girl could have, one of which was her boyfriend, she had a good house over her head, money was fine, and her parents were happily married, at least that’s what she thought. One bad event starts a chain reaction in her life. Her father left her, and her mother. Her boyfriend of 3 years has been cheating on her for 2 years with her best friend. Her mother blames her for her dad leaving, and started to drink more. She also started to beat her.

Now, she’s 17, and it’s been a year since her father left. Her mother found a guy online and they started dating, then, they got married…. in Vegas. Steve, or that guy as she refers to him in her thoughts, lived with them for 2 months. Everyday, when she came home from school or work, he would be drunk on the couch, with her mother. If she was lucky, she could get upstairs without him noticing. He went back to where he lived after the two months. She thought she was free, she thought wrong. 4 days ago, her mother informed her that they were moving in with Steve. Where, you ask?? In a tiny town in Washington, called Forks. What will happen when a certain Cullen falls for this one girl? Will he be able to break down the wall she built up in the past year? Will he find out about the abuse? Will she ever believe in love again? Will the ex’s get in the way?
