Could Tell a Love 2

Could Tell A Love 2 Ch. 6

"Who’s going with who?" I asked.

"6 people...we could go two cars, three people each. Me, you, and Miranda, and then Matt, Eric, and Mike. Sound good?" Jared offered.

"That sounds good to me." Matt said. "Lets gooo!"

"Alright, alright, we’re goin, holy shit, chill." I said, grabbing my keys and going out the door, everyone else following. I looked behind me and saw Eric, who looked a little sad, probably because he wasn’t going with us in my car. I shook it off and got in my car, starting it up. I backed out first, followed by Matt.

"Eric seems kinda bummed about something, don’t you think?" Jared asked on the way to the store.

"Mhm." I agreed. "It’s because I said I wouldn’t go out with him again if we ever broke up, which I’m not saying we will or anything, but that’s what we were talking about in his room."

"Oh, I see." He said, sounding like he didn’t know what else to say.

"He’s more like my son to me now more than an ex, ya know? Ever since he got sick I haven’t felt that way about him."

"So, in a way, you already have a kid. Two, actually. Is that why you didn’t want to adopt?" He asked, grabbing my free hand.

"Kind of, and I wouldn’t want to do the same thing to a third kid that I did to Eric and Katie. I want to be there for it’s whole life, not just a few years until I can’t afford to even feed myself and ship it off to Casey’s." I laughed. "I’m surprised he can even do it without going broke."

"Wait, wait, wait. Eric asked you to go out with him if you two broke up? What about me?!" Miranda yelled at us from the back seat.

"He said that he still wants to be with you, Miranda, chill." I said, turning on my turn signal and turning into the parking lot of Best Buy.

"Obviously not as much as he wants to be with you." She muttered, crossing her arms.

"Stop it Miranda. You know that’s bullshit. If he wanted him more than you he would’ve left you already." Jared said, doing a 180 in his seat.

She didn’t say anything and continued pouting, getting out of the car with Jared and I, meeting up with the other guys. I glanced at Eric and Miranda, his arm around her, holding her close, talking with her, probably asking what’s wrong.

I really hope I didn’t ruin anything between them.

"Come on, Beau. Let them figure it out." Jared whispered, grabbing my hand and pulling me along gently inside, while Miranda and Eric talked outside. While we were wondering around the store, I stayed close to the front by all the CDs, looking out the front windows every once in a while, not seeing any angry gestures being thrown, which relieved me. I saw tears falling down Miranda’s cheeks, hopefully that wasn’t anything bad.

We were already by the computers messing with the touch screens and setting up bitchin’ music on iTunes when Miranda and Eric came in. Eric still had his arm around her, and she looked more composed, and happier.

I need to talk to her later.

"What did you guys do out there, god, you took forever." Matt said jokingly, dragging a card to another pile in an intense game of spider solitaire.

"Shut up, Matt!" She said, messing up his game.

He just giggled to himself and continued his game.

"Wanna go by the cameras?" Jared asked, grabbing a hold of my hand.

"Sure." I followed him by all the cameras and we saw a flash, which scared the shit out of both of us. We looked in the direction of the flash and noticed that the camera was on a timer.

We both looked at each other and smirked. "Wanna take some silly pictures?" I asked.

He kissed me as a yes and the flash went off again. The picture came up on the little 10x10 screen above the camera. We laughed and did some silly, sexy poses with each other, hoping that the camera had a memory card and the employees would see all the pictures. Our fun was interrupted by one of the employees, though.

"Excuse me, I’ve had a few complaints from customers that you two were being obnoxious and offending. I’m going to have to ask you two to leave if you’re going to continue this behavior." She said in a stuck up voice. She must’ve been one of those arrogant managers that think they run the place. She was short and blonde and had an orange tan.

"Sorry, we didn’t have any idea ma’am, we were just leaving, anyways." Jared said, grabbing my arm and pulling me away. Once she was gone, we bursted out laughing.

"That was great!" I said, barely able to breathe from laughing so hard.

"I know, I know! Lets go find the rest of the guys, they’re probably looking for us." Jared said. We walked back by the computers and they weren’t there anymore.

"Maybe they went to find us as we went to find them." I said, standing on my tip toes and looking around for two red heads and a blonde. I couldn’t look for Matt ‘cause he blended in too well.

"I think they went by the CDs, actually." I heard someone say behind us.

I turned around and it was really hard for my jaw not to drop. This guy was gorgeous. He had straight black hair that was all over the place with deep brown eyes to match and what seemed to be an angelic face. The thick rimmed glasses resting on his nose fit him perfectly. His jeans were skin tight, along with his shirt, and I could already tell that his ass was a nice one.

Before I could figure out how to talk again, Jared interrupted me by saying, "Alright, thanks dude." Jared pulled me in the direction of the CDs, but before we got there we stood by the laptops and started giggling.

"That guy..oh my god." I breathed in deeply and looked at the ceiling, holding my hand up to my mouth, making sure not to squeal.

"He was delicious." Jared said, giggling uncontrollably.

"Mm, you’re telling me." I said, putting on my turned on face.

"You’re not gonna sneak off on me and get with him now, are you?" He said playfully, tracing his finger down the middle of my chest.

I smirked and pushed him against the display, getting right up against him, barely any space between our faces. "Of course not, that would be stupid of me."

He smiled and pushed me slightly, blushing a little. "I’m glad I’m at a higher standard than that guy."

I put my forehead on his and my hand on the back of his neck, still smirking. "You’re at the top of my standards. It’s gonna be hard for a guy to beat someone like you." Our lips met and my hand moved from his neck to his waist, hugging him.

We parted and we were both smiling. "Wanna stalk that dude?" I asked, getting off him and assuming a normal position.

"Of course!" Jared said. We walked fast by the computers and he wasn’t there anymore. We wandered by the cameras again, looking out for the guy as well as the Best Buy Nazi. We finally found him checking out DVDs. We smiled at each other and went over by the DVDs as well, holding hands, scanning the shelves for anything good.

"What kinda movie you looking for?" Jared asked.

"I don’t know, anything, really. I’m kinda feelin’ comedy or horror." I said, picking up a random movie and looking at it, reading the back. When I figured out it was a western I put it back, blushing a little bit. I was so gonna blow our cover.

"How about Dead Silence?" I said, picking it off the shelf.

"No, dummies scare the shit out of me." Jared said, taking it out of my hand and putting it back. I glanced over to where he was and he was still there, reading the back of another movie.

"Then...what about Saw?" I said, taking the first one off the shelf and handing it to him.

"Those movies are horrible." The guy piped up, putting the movie back.

"I’ve never seen a full movie, only bits and pieces." I explained, which was true.

"It’s a waste of time, really. They’re the same plot line, and the blood and guts is just too much, even though the ways he kills the people are beastly." He said, sticking his hands in his jean pockets, looking at the floor.

"So I’ve heard." Jared said, laughing a little bit, squeezing my hand affectionately. I looked at him and smiled.

"So what are your recommendations for movies,..um...?" I asked, realizing that we didn’t ask him his name.

"Daniel." He said, holding his hand out. I shook it and smiled. "Beau. And this is Jared." I introduced ourselves, Jared waving.

"Anyways, Daniel, what movies do you recommend we check out?" Jared said.

"Well, if you’re looking for a good horror flick, I would say anything foreign, especially from Asia. Shutter’s a good one. You won’t be able to fall asleep for a while, that’s for sure." He said, smiling and laughing a little bit. I bit my lip and restrained myself from geeking out over his adorable smile. He bent over and pulled the movie off the shelf. "Look at that, it’s the last copy, too. Here ya go." He handed it to us. I felt an out of place piece of paper slide underneath my fingers as he handed me the movie.

I took it and examined it, reading the back cover, sneaking the piece of paper into my pocket. "Oh, this does look freaky. Thanks, Daniel." I said, smiling at him.

"No problem. Well, I have to go. It was nice meeting you guys, maybe I’ll see you around." He said, walking the other way, turning toward the entrance of the store. I swear he gave me one of those "call me" looks like you see in the movies.

I took the piece of paper out of my pocket and, as I suspected, it was his number. Jared stared at it, wide-eyed and open mouthed. "He just gave you his number!"

I laughed a little and put it in my phone. "Yeah, I guess he did."

He hit me softly. "You’re not gonna text him love notes, are you?" He asked disapprovingly.

"No, I just want his number in my phone in case we need any more movie suggestions. He seemed very movie savvy. And besides," I said, starting to walk, Jared following next to me. "like I said before, he’s not gonna replace you, at all. Don’t worry."

We finally met up with the other guys as they were checking out. I guess Eric bought Miranda a CD.

"Did you guys get lost or something?" Eric asked as we walked out of the parking lot.

"Not exactly ‘lost’..." I trailed off.

"Beau got some guys’ number. I guess he really liked him or something." Jared said mockingly, elbowing me like he’s impressed.

I laughed and blushed.

"But I don’t blame him. I mean, who couldn’t resist this sexy bod?" Jared said.

My cheeks became a darker shade of red. "The real question is who could resist his sexy body."

The whole group erupted in laughs and questions. I just smiled and laughed as we walked out of the store and toward the cars.

"So you gonna hook up with him?" Eric asked.

"Pfff, god no." I said, squeezing Jared at his hip, digging out my keys.

"We’re goin’ back to your place, right?" Matt asked Eric, getting into his car.

"Uh, sure, if you guys want to. Don’t know what we’re gonna do, though." Eric said.

"I was actually thinking about going home, I’m beat. Unless, Jared, you wanna do something with them." I said, looking at Jared, who had one foot on the car in the open door and one arm resting on the roof.

"Nah, I’m pretty exhausted, too. Lets just get out of here." He said.

"Do you wanna ride with them, then, Miranda? Or do you wanna chill with us?" I asked her.

She looked between both of the cars and took her bag from the backseat. "I’ll go with them. God knows what you two do alone with you’re ‘exhausted’." She said, smirking, slamming the door.

I rolled my eyes at her. "Whatever, Miranda. We’ll see you guys later." We waved and got in the car. Our lips automatically locked. Jared’s hand softly caressed my cheek and stayed behind my ear, messing up my hair.

Just as we were getting really into the kiss, I heard someone knock on the window. We parted and I turned, expecting to see one of the guys standing there, but it was some old woman, looking absolutely disgusted. Red flushed my cheeks almost instantly. I turned the car on and rolled down the window.

"Could you please take that somewhere else? This is a public place, for god’s sake." She said rudely in an old woman voice.

"We’re sorry, ma’am. We were just about to leave." Jared said, rolling up my window before I could start yelling at her. I put the car in reverse and backed out of my spot, really tempted to run into that old lady. How dare she say that so rudely? I resisted and put it in drive, racing out of the parking lot.

"She could’ve said that more politely." I said quietly, staring at the road, gripping the steering wheel tightly with one hand.

"Whatever, it’s over Beau. We’re probably never going to see her again, so don’t get so worked up about it." Jared said in a calming voice.

I breathed out sharply and let my head hit the headrest on the back of the seat. "Sorry, I overreacted."

"It’s okay. Just keep driving." He said.

We made it home and got out of the car. We barely made it into the house before we were all over each other. I could tell that I wasn’t the only one holding myself back from going after him the whole day. I jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist, wrapping my arms around his neck for support. I smirked at him and kissed him again. "I hear the bed calling our names." I said quietly.

"Really? I don’t think I can quite hear it yet." He said, kissing me again.

We parted and he slipped off my shirt. "How about now?" I asked.

"It’s faint." He smirked, unbuckling my belt.

I laughed and jumped down. "It’s not fair. You get to play undress and I don’t?" I took his shirt off and threw it with mine. We came together and our lips met, arms wrapped around each other.

My breathing was starting to get shaky and I felt Jared’s neck get that much sweatier.

"I think I hear it now." Jared whispered, practically in my mouth.

I smiled. "Lets go then."

I guess our exhaustion wore off, because we didn’t fall asleep until around 4.
