Chapter Thirty-Four.

[Mariah's POV]

Chapter Thirty-Four -

Mariah.

Feelings always get in the way of something. You could feel extremely passionate about something, but miss out on the right path. Either that or you could care less.

"I remember telling you that I love you," I spoke.
His eyes grew.
"I was not that drunk. I can still remember."
"Mariah," He said.
I looked down at his comforter. His hand started to stroke my arm.
"Mariah, I love you. Do you know the first time I ever saw you?"
"School, when we were walking down the hall, I think."
He shook his head.
"No, not at all. You don't remember?"
My brows furried. "When?"
"At the park."
I looked into his eyes.
"You were sitting by a tree with some gingerbread."
"You were sitting on a bench with your mom, I remember eavesdropping on your conversation."
He smiled and kissed my lips softly.
"And you were writing in a little notepad, just like me," He finished.
I closed my eyes and kissed him again. His lips were softer than Brian's. He was more amazing than Brian. There was nothing else that was running through my mind. The world was miles away.
I wanted to remember him just like this, I noted.
He pulled away and and breathed heavier.
"Dominic, I can not go home."
"Why?"
I bit my lip.
"I rather stay with you."
I could not tell him the truth. I could not tell him that my Mother cheated on my Father. I could not tell him that I actually snuck out. I just could not.
