Lost In You

I watched as Gerard shuffled slightly further into the corner away from me. Why did he lie in the first place? I would never judge him, ever. His big hazel eyes were wide and analizing as he scanned my face for a change of emotion. He finally settled down and sighed. I guess his old explanation with the whole military thing was far fetched and... stupid.

"Do you really want to know why I'm such a freak?" he asked. I bit the inside of my cheek in anticipation. "Because of Hayden." he growled. I frowned at him.

"Hayden? What did he ever do?" was he just covering his ass again or was this true?

"He uh..." Gerard's eyes darted to look out the nearby window. "pushed me out of a window when we were younger." was he lying?

"He did?" I asked. "He never told me that."

"Well, why would he. It was him who's the guilty one." Gerard glared at me. Why was he getting so deffensive?

"Um okay." I said just agreeing to whatever he told me. Its not like I fully believed him.

"Listen Frank." his eyes softnened. "I really like you and if you really are single, would you wanna go out with me?" his eyes were pleading and looked dead serious.

"I..." I trailed off. "I'll think about it Gee..." so I crawled out from under the stairs and walked away. I don't know who's lying and who's telling the truth anymore...
