Fuzzy Blue Lights

The Question

Maja was all giggles all the way to the table. When we showed up, the guys looked up at us. Georg had this sort of giddy expression on his face to see that Tom had brought us with, and Gustav, well... I just couldn't tell what Gustav thought. I don't think anyone ever knew what Gustav thought. Bill on the other hand, looked disappointed in his brother for already having not one but two girls accompanying him, and he stated as such. I only knew because Maja whispered the translation in my ear.

"Really, Tom? We just got here!" was Maja's rough translation of what Bill said. Tom gave a curt laugh and waved for us to sit down. Without much hesitation, I sat down next to Bill on the edge- hey, any way that I could assure myself that Tom wouldn't try anything, the better. Then again, I had absolutely no idea that sitting next to his brother would assure that Tom didn't try anything. Maja forced herself in on the other side of me, and Tom decided that there was more room on my side than her's, so he took a seat there.

"I'm surprised, Bill. You're usually the one that remembers our fans faces," Tom shot back. Bill blinked for a moment before he examined my face as well as Maja's. In a much similar reaction that Tom had earlier, Bill clapped his hands a few times and grinned widely.

"You're the Sticky-Note girls! Oh, wow, this is just amazing. Where did you find them, Tom?" Aw, now Bill looked all flustered and excited. I've got to admit, his smile was contagious, and his accent was a lot more adorable than his brother's. And feminine.

"Actually, Candy found him. Or more like fell on him, however you want to put it," Maja giggled. My smile fell and I gave her a glare from across the table. Yeah, way to give the wrong impression. Tom smirked noticeably and looked down at me with a raised eyebrow.

"In my defense, it was only because my chains got caught on something."

"Sure, sure. Don't worry, Candy. I believe you." This earned Maja another dirty glare. Bill waved his hands excitedly, not really caring about the current conversation, as he turned and stared down at me with that giant smile of his still on his face.

"So your name is Candy, right?"

"That would be correct, sir," I said with a nod of my head. Maja grinned devilishly from across the table and decided to pitch in again.

"It's actually rather odd, considering that she's far from sweet." I glared at her yet again as she just took an innocent swig of her drink.

"Hey, you and your Drunk Juice stay on that side of the table," I hissed and crossed my arms. Both Bill and Tom raised their eyebrows at me this time and stared down upon me.

"Drunk Juice?" They asked at the same time.

"It's the word that Candice uses instead of alcohol," Maja informed as she rolled her eyes. This in turn caused Bill to direct her attention at her.

"And what would your name be?" he questioned sweetly with a little tilt of his head. I choked down my laughter as Maja nearly choked on her drink. Oh sweet pay-back.

"Oh, umm..." since she was clearly too flustered to answer, I decided to do so for her.

"Her name is Maja, and she's one of your biggest fans," I gushed and laughed at her expression. Now she turned to glare at me, knowing that she couldn't pull the same move on me.

"And you're not?" Georg piped in finally as he leaned forward a bit on his elbows. I had all four of the guys staring at me again- probably curious of my answer.

"Nope," I informed, putting an extra 'pop' at the end of my statement. Gustav's attention was pulled off of me and back to whatever he had been paying attention to, but the other three didn't let up.

"Really?"

"Really, Bill. I only went to the concert because Maja figured it would cheer me up," I started, but ended up mumbling the last bit of my sentence- about halfway through I realized that I really didn't need to tell them my personal life. Too bad. Bill was interested now.

"Cheer you up? Why?"

Damn it. He was using those innocent little puppy eyes. Curse my softness for the innocent little puppy eyes.

"Because, the Agency I worked for decided to drop me because I cussed out a client again, and now I have to go back to the States," I whined, and I had every right to, as well. I saw Maja from across from me jump a little bit as she remembered just why we had been running about and doing all of these fun things in the first place.

"That's right! I'm going to be loosing my little American Buddy soon!" she complained as she leaned across the table and hugged me. "Aw, now who am I going to cart around like a little hand purse?"

Jesus, it was only until now that I had realized she had been chugging down while no one was paying attention to her. For once, she had gotten drunk faster than I had. I think the realization that I would be leaving my home of three years now had just hit me as well. I patted Maja on her shoulder as she placed herself back into her seat, her eyes glazed over.

It got quiet for a moment. The guys just looked back and forth between the two of us with saddened looks on their faces. I think they were having an internal debate to see which one of us would start crying first, if at all. I glared at the table and let out a sigh before I looked back up with a giant smile on my face.

"Hey, I knew it would happen eventually. It was either I was going to quit or they were going to drop me, you know that. Now, I'd rather that we get off this subject. We did come here to have fun, right?" That got Maja to lighten up a bit. We could always cry over this later.

"Random question, but it's actually been bothering me all night," Bill suddenly burst out as he looked over at me again. Probably because he was feeling anxious to get our attention more on him than on me and Maja.

"Go for it," Maja and I replied at the same time.

"Now, this is only if you two actually did this, but how did you manage to get all of those Sticky-Notes everywhere?" Bill asked sweetly. I looked at him and raised an eyebrow.

"It's because we've got mad skills. That, and your security was surprisingly easy to fool." Maja was giggling again from across from me as I finally took another swig of my drink. Sheesh, I had nearly forgotten that I had one. Bill only seemed even more interested. After all, if his security was faulty, it would be good for him to know in what area.

"Oh? How so?"

"Candy's badge hadn't been taken away yet, so we used the badges that the Agency gives us to show who we are. We managed to convince them that we were part of your crew, and so we were able to sneak around undetected," Maja explained, taking pride in her magical convincing skills. After all, she had done all the work.

"So what 'Agency' do you two work for, anyway?" Tom questioned this time, looking in between us.

"It's a Modeling Agency. Both of us had been Hair and Make-up artists for the models, but now Maja will just have to face the pompous bastards without me," I exaggerated and glared at the table again. I heard Tom suck in a breath through his teeth as he looked away. Bill was giggling next to me at my reaction.

"Oh, come on, models can't be that bad, can they?"

"Believe me, they are. And, for whatever reason, they were intent on assigning me to the overly self-centered, arrogant fag-wads that won't ever just shut up and let a person do their job," I hissed and glared off into no particular direction. Maja was giggling, still, at my reactions.

"So what are you going to do when you get back to America?" Gustav inquired as he returned his attention to us. I stared at him in shock, more for the question, as the others stared at him in shock simply because he actually pitched into the conversation. That was the second time I had that question asked to me tonight.

"I don't know... I'll probably have to start working in my brother's hair salon." I grimaced with distaste at the thought. It would be a major degrading job compared to what I used to do, and I would still have to work with pricks.

"I'm sorry, did you just say your brother's hair salon?" Of course that would be the only part of the sentence that Tom payed attention to.

"That I did, Tom. Do you have a problem with my brother's profession?" Tom raised his hands in defense as I gave him a wicked glare. Hey, thinking of Tyler... "Hey, Bill? Mind if I get a picture? I might not be much of a fan, but Ty just about worships you and your hair like you're some kind of God."

"Oh! Sure, I don't mind," Bill gushed, just about jumping at the opportunity to please a fan, regardless on the fact that Tyler is a guy. Then again, I hadn't exactly said it was for my brother, I just said it was for someone named 'Ty'...

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and aimed to take a picture when Bill decided that it was a much better idea to have the both of us in the picture and for Tom to take it. I shrugged and agreed- I could also get Tyler into a jealous fluster if both of us were in it. Tom handed me back my little Blackberry and I wasted no time in sending the picture to Tyler, regardless of what time it was over on the East Coast.

"...So, you said that you were a Hair and Make-up artist, right?" Bill questioned as I looked up at him from my phone.

"Right you are," I responded, not quite sure where he was going with this. He had an amused look on his face- you know, his pierced eye-brow was arched and he had this sort of smirk on his face. His smirk turned into a devious little grin at my reply.

"Well then, we can't let that talent go to waste in a generic hair salon, now can we?"

"Ex-- Excuse me?" I shook my head and stared at him wide-eyed. His grin only got bigger.

"I might just have a job position for you that recently just opened, if you're interested," he elaborated. My jaw fell slack and my eyes just widened further, and I could see that Maja had a similar reaction from across the table.

"I'm sorry, I don't think I heard right. Did you just... Offer me a job?"

There was a beat of silence. I could feel my pulse just about shoot through the roof. Me? Get offered a job with Tokio Hotel? By Bill? That couldn't be right...

"That would be correct, Candy. So, how about it? Do you feel like touring around with us as my new Hair and Make-up artist?"

My jaw stayed slack. I still couldn't comprehend what was being asked of me. Not that I would be able to answer right anyway.

...After all, Maja had just fainted...
