It's March of '97 and Jayden is a 19 year old girl living with her brother Derek and grows tired of his abusive ways. She revolts against Derek and runs away to find some place to escape and soon realizes there is no place to hide and running will help her little. Not long after her get-away she meets her soon-to-be best friend, Jenna, and shortly after, runs into complete tragedy. She is confused about her thoughts about Tre and doesn't know what to do.
