Elsse's Adventure

Another boring monday night. No one to talk to. No one to laugh with. Sigh. All alone in this

cramped apartment. Sigh. Sleep and dream is what's going to happen. Sleep and dream

on.I didn't bother to clean up myself. I just went to bed and turned off the lights. So peaceful.

So quiet. In a second my eyes closed voluntarily and I drifted off to sleep. The next thing I

knew I am lying in soft green grass, with birds chirping around me, the trees grew tall and

sky, is booming with brightness. Where Am I? I asked myself. I didn't care. I just walked very

slowly to appreciate the alive place I'm not sure how I got to. Then suddenly I heard

footsteps. very faint footsteps, like the one sneaky people use.I looked around to see who

was coming but I even if I turned 360 degrees, I couldn't see anyone or anything. Then

suddenly, A girl wearing complete armor (complete with sword and shield) appeared

beside me. "Who are you? Why are you following me?" She asked all at the same time.

"Uhm. I'm Emily. I'm not following you. You're the one who just appeared beside me." "Well,

Don't follow me." Fine. I'm not following her anywhere. I wasn't even following her. What an

annoying brat. I started to walk away. The next minute I was tied very tightly to a tree. I don't

remember what happened. I didn't even remember being tied up. "What, what's

happening? Why am I tied up like this? It hurts too much. Can you loosen it a bit. Please."

"No. What do you think of me? a stupid elf that looses the rope that ties the captive?".

Captive, me? When did I became a captive? This doesn't makes sense. The weird part is,

the one who introduced himself as an elf doesn't look like an elf. I think he's 7 feet tall. You

call that an elf? The girl I saw earlier showed up. She looked very fierce and scary but then

she asked me."Do you want a cookie dear?". Just like the way grandmothers talk to you

when you're visiting. She offered me, green round things with black spots that looked far

more worse than the cookies made by rich spoiled girls who doesn't know how to bake or

even cook. I said no. I don't want to die just by eating unsafe cookies. I noticed that the

supposedly elf giant is gone. Well, good riddance. I closed my eyes and Vwalla! I'm in

another place. Wow! I can teleport! This place is different. Very different. I'm standing in a

rocky valley that smells like burnt wood and Baby Dragons are flying around. No one was

there except me and the baby dragons who breath rocks instead of fire. They were kind of

cute, not thinking about how ugly and weird they look when rocks fly out of their noses. I

wonder what do they eat. I'm getting tired of the scene, if you can call it a scene. So I closed

my eyes shut and waited for the next place to come and hit me. It hit me a little longer than

the first and second ones. This time I'm in a very dark place. Not dark actually there are big

yellow bulbs hanging from the ceiling. It casted a faint light. Very hard to see where you're

going with this kind of light. the people that passed by seemed to wear old, really old and

tattered clothes that looks like they were worn for over a hundred years. They seem so pale

and thin like there's no food anywhere.I walked slowly to see if there are other people and

other places to see in this kind of place. Then suddenly a girl with red hair and thin slender

legs crashed onto me. She was running so fast she couldn't stop herself from crashing to

me. I apologized to her to show some respect and politeness but she didn't answer. She

just stood up and ran again. She didn't even say what her name was and didn't even

apologized she's the one who caused all the commotion. Oh, what ever. Maybe people like

her is very rampant here. I was about to close my eyes when a hand pulled me aback. I

looked up to see who pulled my arm but I didn't see anyone, It's like my arm was pulled by

an invisible thing. When I tried to close my eyes, something or someone pushed me. I fell

hard on the ground. I picked myself up and searched for the suspect, but again there was

no one there. I'm really getting pissed. "Hey you invisible meanie! what the hell is

wrong with you? Show your face to me now!". A smoke forming a figure of a girl. Seconds

minutes passed by slowly, the figure began to have features. I was so scared, so I just

closed my eyes and hoped for the new world. Nothing was happening. I am still in the dark

place but the ghost is gone. "Okay, pull yourself together Elsee. don't be afraid". But

whatever encouragement I do, I'm still scared as hell. So I had no choice but to scream

louder than I screamed before and run as fast as I could. I noticed something weird. My

surrounding seem to be the same whether I ran fast or slow it's still the same dull place.

Wah! I want my mommy! Tears rolled down my cheeks. I want to go back home. I don't care

if I'm alone and bored. All I want to do is go home and hug my mom so hard until she

choked to death! Wah! I want to go home now! I don't want anymore places! I 100 want my

crappy apartment! I want my stinky and messy room! I won't ever complain again. Never

ever ever ever!! please just take me home. Please I'm begging you! I'm too young to die

because of tiredness and fear. Oh! please take me back home! After I said the word home,

everything around me change. I can see my messy bed again. I can see my room again. I'm

not in a a foreign land anymore! Woot! yaaay! I'm home! I dashed out of my bed to find mom.

"mom! Mom! I'm sorry I ever hated this place. I'm sorry if I hated you because you and dad

separated. I'm sorry." Tears rolled down my ugly face."Shhh..calm down Elsee. Did you

have a bad dream or something?"

"you'd never guess what happened to me in my dream mom!

"Okay tell me all about it."

"about what?"

"your dream."

"what dream?"
