“He might wake up”

“You said that about yesterday. You said that last year.”

“I said he might wake up.”

“You don’t look well.”

“Neither does Gerard, so I don’t care”

“Gerard doesn’t know he’s even ill.”

“Have you ever been in a coma?”

“No.”

“Then how the fuck do you know?”

“Because I am a doctor.”

“And all you know is that he can’t wake up and his brain isn’t working or whatever. Where does he go? Heaven? Hell? Or is he still here and just can’t open his goddamn eyes. He might wake up.”
