Amber's P.O.V.

The date with the guys went better than expected. I mean we're still at the beach and Jorel isn't a ass like he was trying to come off as when we first met. I still can't believe Vengeance gave the okay on George before even knowing him.

That dog has some issues but I know he's looking out for her. I mean I am too but he's just doing it in a more protective way.

"Why did you and Allie move here anyways?" Jorel asked me

"It's different from back home plus we needed a change" I said

"Why?" he asked me

"Well because we both recently became single and there's not drama here" I told him

"I hate ex drama" he said laughing

"That's not funny. I mean you guys are different from the guys we used to be with" I told him

"How?"

"Well look at the way George is holding Allie" He nodded "that wouldn't happen where we're from" I told him

"Why we're they assholes?" he asked me

"Something like that" I told him

"Well did they hit you guys?" he asked me

"Me no but Allie doesn't say so that's a maybe" I told him

"I wouldn't have expected that" He said

"I know that's why I'm happy she agreed to move here with me" I said

"Are you getting cold?" he asked me

"Just a little" I told him

He took off his jacket and gave it to me. If ever was a time I was happy it was know. I mean my best friend is happy and I'm with a really hot guy. What more can I ask for?

Jorel's P.O.V.

I gave Amber my jacket. I mean I didn't expect to hear about their past. Well know I just have to remember that to tell Johnny about Allie. I wouldn't have guess that since she seemed not hurt in any way.

"I have a question about Allie though" I told Amber

"Sure what is it?" she asked

"Why doesn't she seem like all down if she was abused?" I asked

"She got used to living a lie but now she really does look happy though" She told me

"How long do you think he abused her for?" I asked her

"A long ass time but she hide it from everyone. I'm actually shocked she didn't tell me sooner" She said

"Yeah I would be too" I told her

"But I think he started telling her shit after they got together and it just kept going from there on" She told me

"Did anyone noticed?" I asked

"Yeah her style started to change and she just wasn't Allie anymore. I mean she just started going back to normal now" she said

"Oh" I said

"I'm guessing your going to tell George now?" she asked

"Yeah I mean it's kind of important for him to know" I told her

"Yeah but look at them. I'll make sure she tells him though" she told me

"Yeah it's probably the best but it's going to come out either way" I told her

"Yeah" she said

We started talking more about each other and I have no clue why but I kissed her without thinking and she seemed a little surprised but started kissing back within seconds.

I guess I really own that dog one.
