I'm Stuck in the Freezing Cold With Who?

Everyone around us was trying to give us big hugs, but the paramedics kept telling the people to give them room to work. I saw a flashlight in front of my eyes going back and forth. I looked over to see the once demure boy smile at me weakly. I assumed my smile was just as weak. But that was to be expected! My head was spinning as they took us to the hospital checking and re-checking my heart rate, blood pressure and who knows what else. We both had to stay overnight, which was a drag. All I wanted to do was get home to my cat and my warm bed. We were given bad hospital food, but we both quickly ate it up like it was Thanksgiving or Christmas diner.
