April and Damon have a normal relationship between two people who love each other more then anything. Their friends are kind and always there for them. The school days change at Hawthorne High when Valerie begins to cause a ruckus by spreading rumors and talking bad about Zoe. You never mess with a girls best friend. To make matters worse there's a new kid named Grant who is just looking for people to join his "gang" as he says. He will do whatever it takes to get what he wants.
