Party.
Shelby and Caylee arrived at the party around 10:45. Due to the fact it took a while to get past Shelby's parents, and get out of the house.
"Hey guys!" Said Matt, running up to them and hugging Shelby awkwardly. He reached out to hug Caylee but she dodged him and acted on fixing her sock.
"I didn't know you were coming, Caylee?" He asked, looking down at her.
"Oh my God! Justin!" Shelby yelled, excitedly. She ran off to where he sat in the living room with a few other posh looking boys, leaving Caylee alone with Matt.
Fuck it, Shelby. Caylee thought to herself. She stood back up, letting her arms drop at her sides awkwardly.
"I didn't know I was coming either.. Actually." She tried inching her way around him. He took a small step sideways, blocking her only path. She wasn't even in the door all the way yet.
"Well I'm glad you came! I've been wanting to talk to you. I tried getting a hold of you in the hallway the other day but it seemed like you were ignoring me..." He trailed off, looking confused.
"Oh, you were? I didn't hear you. I'm sorry." She blushed slightly, she felt her cheeks get warm. She hoped it didn't give away her lie.
"You didn't? I even grabbed your shoulder." He looked her up and down slowly, not trying to hide it at all. "You know you look... Good..." He said.
Caylee was thankful for the subject change. "Thanks." She looked behind him and saw Shelby flirting with Justin, she felt a twinge of jealousy. She narrowed her eyes a bit and said rudely, "Are you going to move anytime soon? I'd actually like to BE at the party, sometime tonight.. I'm still halfway outside.Thanks." She shoved past him.
"I still need to ask you something though!" He said, grabbing her arm.
She shook his grip off her arm. "What is it?"
"I wanted to know if you'd like to go to homecoming with me."
"Are you serious?"
"Yeah?" He looked confused.
"Really serious? You're asking me?" She looked at him as if he were stupid. She thought he was.
"Yeah, I am." He said matter-of-factly.
"Well I'm not going to homecoming."
"Why not?"
"I have better things to do."
"Like what?" Matt asked.
"None of your business. But I'm going to get to the party, kay?" She said, getting annoyed. She walked towards Shelby.
"Fuck!" She blurted out. Her foot caught the end of the carpet. She went flying, she caught herself on the back of the couch.
Shelby got up quickly and rushed over to her. "Are you okay C.J.?" She said, helping her up.
Caylee was flushed with embarassment. She looked around, everyone was staring at her. "Yeah I'm good." She said and laughed, trying to ease her embarassment, she was blushing madly.
Shelby smiled at her and kissed her cheeks. "You're adorable. Especially when you blush." Caylee blushed deeper. This time from the feel of Shelby's lips against her skin. She totally forgot about tripping.
Caylee giggled. "Thanks." She said and looked at the ground.
Shelby grinned and pulled her off to the huge display of liquor covering the kitchen counter.
She grabbed the Protrone and poured two shot glasses, she handed Caylee one.
"On the count of three." Shelby grinned even wider.
"One..." Caylee started.
"Two three!" Shelby said quickly, they both took their shots and set the glasses back down.
"Yuck!" Shelby said, pouring more in each of the glasses.
"I know what you mean..." Caylee said, taking her second shot.
----
Caylee, Shelby, Matt, Nate, and Justin all sat on Nate's parents king sized bed, away from the rest of the party. Shelby fell asleep on Justin's lap, near half an hour ago. Caylee looked at them both sleeping, looking all peaceful. She wanted to throw her vodka bottle at them. But that'd be waisting the alcohol. She took another long guzzle.
"I think you've had enough..." Nate said, reaching out to grab the bottle away from her.
Caylee slapped his hand away. "I'm not even drunk!" She half yelled. He tried grabbing it again.
"What the f-fuck nate?" She stuttered through her words, obviously drunk.
She stood up off the bed, but she got up too fast and stumbled over into the nightstand. She caught herself with one hand and took another drink. Nate rolled his eyes and walked out of the room.
"Here, you need help..." Matt said, standing up off the bed. He was completely sober. He only had a few drinks of a hot beer.
"I don't need anyone's fucking help!" She gagged a bit.
"What's wrong?" Matt asked, sounding worried.
She shook her head and grabbed the garbage bin near the bed and threw up in it. Matt just watched.
"Ugghh." Caylee said, taking another drink.
"What the hell, C.J.? Don't you know your limit?"
She looked at Shelby and Justin wrapped around each other. She felt her stomach twist in knots out of jealousy. She took another long guzzle.
"Help me to Nate's room." She ordered, wrapping her arm around his shoulders.
"Yes ma'am." He grinned and helped her to Nate's room. Caylee had never been inside. She was suprised to see it was all rain forest decorated. She loved it, it was relaxing. She briefly thought it was weird for Nate to have it themed this way, then forgot about it as she threw up again by his door. This time there was no garbage bin.
"Shit Caylee!" Matt said, running to get some towels. Caylee slowly and awkwardly walked her way to Nate's bed and fell down on it.
Matt was back shortly, he threw the towels on top of the throw up. More likely just covering it up, other than actually cleaning it.
Caylee shut her eyes. All she could see was stupid Shelby looking happy up close to stupid Justin.
Stupid stupid stupid. Why do I care so much anyways, I don't even go that way. She thought to herself , opening her eyes again and saw Matt standing over her. She reached up and grabbed him by the shirt and lightly pulled him down.
He pulled off his shirt and got on top of her immediately.
As they kissed she kept seeing Shelby. She wanted Matt to be her so badly. But Shelby was off sleeping with her crush. She flipped them over so she was on top and pinned his arms above his head. She pushed her waist down against his.
"Oh God Caylee..." Matt said softly, moaning a bit as he pushed his waist up against her.
She stopped.
She remembered her uncle always saying this, right in the middle of sex. She was over come with horrible guilt. She was in love with her uncle... She couldn't do this to him.
Matt was already breathing hard, it sent shivers up her spine. "Something wrong?" He asked casually as he began kissing her again. She kissed him back, she thrived on the thought she wasn't going to remember anything in the morning.
"Hey guys!" Said Matt, running up to them and hugging Shelby awkwardly. He reached out to hug Caylee but she dodged him and acted on fixing her sock.
