It's the usual, saying, "Love you," instead of, "I love you." Typically followed by a kiss on the cheek, maybe a hug. All it is is keeping up appearances now. They're too busy running around, taking care of everything but what needs fixing. They just don't have the time. What was once happiness is whittled away into a memory; the spark that once flared simply doesn't anymore.
Disappeared, like it was never even there in the first place.
