The Sky Turned Purple

The sky turned purple
That day.
The end.
Where metaphorical pain
Turned physical.
Where physical pain
Turned mental,
And hypocrisy turned whole
When I promised not to cry.
It's subconscious,
What I'm doing.
Too obvious to notice.
Too horrible to try.
So, this is life.
This is pain.
This is where I ask,
Should I even try again?
The months wasted
Behind walls,
And trust obliterated
Every time I fall,
And your odd tastes in clothing
Ruined it all.
